    That time when MJ said ‘if you want to find PDFfiles, you just need to look down the street, but it ain’t me”
    He wasn’t lying. They smeared that man’s name, the took him out after he started talking too much publicly.
    RIP MJ, just know that justice is slowly but surely being served 🙏🏾

    Also, to clarify on the question at 8:47... In. the 80s and prior, the Music Industry was not used to the idea of ownership. If you were a musician, you were a musician, if you were a businessman/ manager, you handled that lane. So the idea of an Artist owning a catalog, was beyond anyone's imagination. So, people were learning as they went along. It is not like today where information is everywhere and everyone is privy to such knowledge.

    MJ owned half of Sony ATV. Sony tried to get back his half since he aquired it. He was in dealings in the late 90s to buy rights to Universal, which would include Marvel. And had plans to open theme parks, restaurants and other ventures themed on these. This would've made him one of the richest, most influential individuals in the world. When Sony realized he didn't want to sell it back and other powers that be saw he wanted to expand his empire they sabotaged his his Invincible album, the second round of child abuse cases followed. They attempted a character assassination of him and tried to run his money dry. He was found not guilty in court and the rumours didn't stick. The only thing left was to off him. They bought back the catalogue after his death for 750 million when it was valued at over 40 billion. Diddy's current head of security was assigned to MJ shortly before his death, same with Dr Conrad Murray.

    The amount of families who settled with him after accusing him of something so terrible and willingly taking money over putting someone in jail is what made me see. Aaron Carter admitted his parents tried to get him to make up something about Michael Jackson and he refused because he knew firsthand Michael wasn’t bad and what his parents were doing was wrong, seems like he even knew his parents were trying to get some big money out of Michael.

    • @mirab948
      @mirab948 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      There was only one family (the Chandler family) that settled. The Chandlers negotiated with Michael's insurance company for the settlement. The second false allegation was 10 years later in 2003 by the Arviso family and that was completely initiated by the media after the suggestive Martin Bashir interview aired on television. The Arviso family was hunted down by the media and harassed by the public until they took the opportunity and tried to pursue a lawsuit against Michael. It was what the DA Sneddon needed to get an indictment. The problem is the Arviso's were found to be scammers in court. The false stories and payouts made by the media to people and ex-employees did not work before a jury. Michael was found innocent. The FBI report also proved his innocence.

    • @mirab948
      @mirab948 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Also, there was a very real effort to get Michael's friends to accuse him of abuse. Anyone that tried to publicly defend him or say that the press stories were lies was immediately attacked by the media. The DA Gil Garcetti said in a press conference in the 90s that the investigation found no accusers and no evidence. When Michael invited the Arviso's in 2003 to stay at Neverland after the Bashir interview aired, it gave them the timeline they needed to accuse him.

    They’re getting the story wrong. Michael Jackson first bought the Beetle catalog in the early 80’s. Because that Beetle catalog was so valuable, Sony made a deal with Michael in the 90’s to merge their publishing company with his to create one big publishing company which was Sony/ATV in which Sony the corporation would own 50% of the publishing while Michael himself would own the other 50%.
    That merger literally gave Michael 50% ownership of all the publishing of the artist that Sony owned prior to the deal. So, instead of Michael just owning the Beetles catalog, he now owned 50% of Beyoncé, Eminem, Elvis Presley, Britney Spears, etc.

    Guys Michael Jackson was one of the most powerful black man ever lived... not only in music who is a legend..
    America and UK will never forgive him for surpassing its stars, his idols and for the power he had.. when he started breaking records and overshadowing anything that existed, the war started. he became freak, wirdo, jacko.
    He was a very skillful businessman who, in his black skin, maneuvered the best deal ever in the history of American music when he bought into the Sony/ ATV catalogs. He knew this was the reason they came after him. He knew it and he said it..
    very important.. his greatest strength was the influence he had on a global level.. when Michael sent a message the world listened...
    Mike threatened the establishment more than any man in US history...
    The fact that he was a very strong and passionate activist who used his platform to send strong social and political messages you understand how threatening he can be..
    As his skin became whiter the foundation of his art became blacker..
    Michael was the first and so far the only black person in history who made millions of whites, black, asians go NUTS for him. Not just claps or scream but lose their mind, pass out No one had the kind of reaction like MJ certainly not on a global scale. Not even religious figures, period. The press hated it..
    The white Anglo-American press couldn't deal with the fact that they did their best to ruin that man and here he was still making people all over the world cry... lose their mind over him, support him with passion.
    Michael had contacts with top personalities all over the world.. he was welcomed everywhere by Royals Ministers, Businessman and other powerful people.. he had contacts with Russia, Korea, Japan and thi is something that America never liked of it..
    They were out to get him since always....4 decades.. they could no longer sustain such awesomeness by the black artist! It was a tough war because they had to surrender to his wisdom, talent,his art and his mammoth army of fans. The mission to hunt him down had started.
    MJ had power like no one else... His enemies knew that which is why they were so hel bent to humiliate him to put him back to his place..

    7:00 What happened was Paul McCartney had the opportunity to buy back the Beatles catalog, but they offered it to him for $20 million. Paul McCartney had the bread, but thought it was too pricey and decided to try to go in on the catalog with the other surviving Beatles. While in negotiations with the other Beatles, McCartney had that conversation with MJ, to which MJ went to the seller and doubled the initial offering to $40 million and bought it flat out and right under Paul McCartney’s nose.
    Mike needed money because after the allegations radio stopped playing him, either out of orders or his ruined reputation. MJ’s debts started stacking up and so that’s why he decided to do the “This Is It” tour. He’d make all that money from that last series of concerts played at a single venue in England (so he wouldn’t have to worry about traveling stressors and expenses) and would’ve been the first the artist to do a theatrical run of his final performance, and would’ve negotiated everything in his favor.
    The tour was supposed to be his bail out, but I believe his body was really hurting from age and “justified” him abusing medical grade stuff.
    I always figured that MJ always had a painkiller addiction and at the time he died was moving into harder stuff like propofol. MJ figured that he’d be smart and enlist the help of a doctor, so he’d be “smart” about it.

      That's not true, Paul didn't want to pay for it. He told micheal in hopes he would buy it and just give it to him. Bc micheal gave a lot of artists their publishing back. So the buy from under his nose micheal doubling the money is bs. Paul didn't want to pay for it, period. What you said is the equivalent of you wanting to buy a certain car. But you don't want to spend your money for it. You tell me about the car. I buy the car bc I'm willing to spend my money . That's not buying something from under somebody nose. Also, MJ wasn't broke he didn't even spend his own money when traveling or buying anything . This is it was only to pay off his debt. He wasn't broke or hurting for money. If you look at his will and how much money his kids and mother got. He wasn't broke they didn't start paying off his debt until years later. The money made after his death from music , video games , sell of publishing etc. Went to pay off the debt. Their are many articles detaling this and the paul story you dont have to spice it up.

    Charla has most of the story correct. First, I hate the narrative that Mike bought the Beatles catalog. He didn’t. Mike bought a catalog THAT JUST SO HAPPENED to have the Beatles publishing. The main reason Mike bought ATV was to gift most of the black artist who got rotten deals their publishing like Little Richard.
    As far as the joint ventures. Mike didn’t sell in ‘95. He kept ownership of ATV but shared profits with Sony, just like they shared profits with him. So if ATV publishing made money, Mike and Sony would get paid and if Sony Publishing made money, Mike and Sony would get paid. THAT’S how Mike got one over on the music industry. He was a Genius businessman. And people didn’t like that. Mike wasn’t broke. That what they wanted you to believe. Any artist in the radio you heard, because of the publishing deal with Sony, he was making money off them.

Why? In Michael's case, AEG Live's Randy Phillips... who conveniently spearheaded more allegations in the aftermath of Michael's death, after being part of MJ's wrongful death lawsuit. It honestly doesn't take a genius to know that the smoke and mirrors around Michael Jackson was really intended to cover up for the real criminals and cynically diverted public attention in the direction of his. 99% of things Charlemagne says but hes 💯 on this. I don’t agree with but I’ve followed so much information and research on MJ his publishing, etc. Michael owned the Beetles AND half of Sony publishing, not including his own publishing and masters, and more. When you heard people’s music or they performed….MJ got paid. You heard Happy Birthday song…MJ owner that. He got paid. His kids net worth is about 3 billion right now. But MJ left Sony owning half of Sony, hated Sony never wanted to sell the catalog….everything they did to try and cancel him and wouldn’t work but ultimately he passed and John Branca who is head of the estate, MJ fired before he died because Branca stole millions and put off shore. But the will that family days isn’t legit as when the date was signed he wasn’t in New York, Branca sold catalogs for 850mill, a MJ 7 year contract for 250mill, now selling half of MJs catalog to Sony for 600million his mom tried to stop. The lawyers want there cut. They don’t care about MJs legacy. Still only 2 videos restored to 4k. No Blu-ray’s nothing. Got sued for putting 3 fake Michael Jackson songs on the 2010 Michael album. Forced to take ‘em off. If not for fans they woulda lied and had fake MJ songs out. MJ was offd. Plain and simple. He was a great man, loved people, helped kids, and because he had power and pull with all races, countries, music decisions, they wanted it back. FBI did a 10 year under cover op on MJ….found nothing.

He was probably advised to keep quiet until he owned it.

    I believe it. MJ couldn’t let go of his yearning for his childhood. Which helped them take him down. And the doctor was paid to let him go.
    He gave a press conference on how Tommy M. was conspiring to take him down.

      @@Shayzar1 His brothers aren't worth sh1t they let their "brother" be abused and did things in the same room while he was a child that no adult should've been doing in the presence of a minor. There are no innocent, they all either do or let it happen, equally as guilty.

    Candace Owens has some great episodes about MJ. His security was linked to diddy yoo. It’s all really wild. They should talk to her about this! She’s well informed and can spot facts
