Really great video! I got mine about a week ago and love it. I have the boss ir200 and wanted to see how this compared to it because I'm not getting on with the Boss menu/controls. The acs1 sounds so much more like a real amp and is way easier to use 👍
I'm thinking of buying one. I've watched a few different videos comparing the ACS1 to the IR200 and was coming to the same conclusion you have - so thank you for posting the above as it is useful to have my instinct confirmed!
The blackface setting is way better than iridium. No doubt. Speaking of faces….this guy has some pretty raunchy stank faces with his licks. Fun video for sure. Well done.
Man I see great videos of people making this ACS1 sounding so good! I moved on from the iridium to a stomp then stomp to ACS1 to save space but I couldn’t get it sound nearly as good like you have! So I moved back to the iridium lol I definitely love the iridium but really wish I made the ACS1 work. I might of had a defective one
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. This thing is pretty cool - took some tweaking on my other pedals to get me comfy with it, but once i did, it was off to the races!

I’ve owned the Iridium and it just doesn’t work for me. I like the ACS1 Better.All good pedals for what they do. Still Love plugging into my Fender pro Reverb And Vox amps. Love the Real Amps
Have you plugged your headphones in straight into the Universal Audio? How are you connecting the pedals? Sorry I'm a bit new to the analog world. Also are you not using anything like speakers? You're just hearing all this through headphones?
@@markhopkinsmusic that's insane to me! What about the pedals? Are they connected to the AC1 just you would to an amp? Because these are some fantastic tones! I want to be able to get into the ballpark of Robben Ford, Matt Schofield tones but I can't use my amp anymore since in order to achieve tones like that, the amp has to be a bit dimed for that! Fantastic playing man by the way! Beautiful beautiful playing!
It’s good for old school tones, Strymon sounds better slightly and does high gain too , I got an amplifire box mk2 also very good and funner , modeling is at its peak , only the UI can be better across the whole board
I bought one the other day. Played with it for a couple days and sent it back. No matter what I did, the guitar actually sounded better with the pedal turned off. Huge disappointment, I wanted this pedal to work for me.

Yup this was pedal straight into the UA x4. I was just monitoring with the headphones. Sounded great!

i never thought of doing that to be honest. How would you use it in that way, if you could use it as a normal pedal?
