Actually, you’re right. It’s a home recording. Egor Letov is phenomenal, he made hundreds of his songs alone. And let me explain his music a bit. It’s an essence of existencial philosophy mixed with a sarcasm, disappointment of the humanity, and the crystal clean understanding of the human animal part. Once he said that his character is an innocent child forced to defend himself with a weapon. So there are no fake emotions. But that’s not a concept of Letov’s songs. The main concept is about a soul, mentality, and spirit. The songs belongs to the human soul and mind directly, avoiding the animal evolutional mess of a human body: feelings, simple emotions and so on. Too complicated though but I hope I explained it well.
