Go to your local bicycle shop. Ask for some punctured tubes that they usually throw out anyway. The come on different diameters. The fancy racing bikes, mountain bikes and the balloon tire type. Then, just cut off a "ring" and you have a big, stiff rubber band. Use it for tons of different applications. Tip Up spools, around spools of leader line, etc.
I don’t know how you keep ‘em coming brother but you do!! Very grateful for you sharing your knowledge and experience along with some wisdom 😂. Thank you for sharing and keeping everyone entertained!
Awesome hacks bud. I use old hand towels, bath towels, wash clothes and etc for fish rags. Never thought about putting a grommet on them. Laundry basket hack is pretty cool.
I finally got to wet a hook last week and caught some crappie and carp and trout. No cats yet. I like to winter fish but mot always able to. Love catching catfish!!
#1 I've done this for a few years now, but I use it with a carabiner to attach to my belt loops when I am fishing on a dock or bank. Works super good. I just buy cheap hand towels. Berry Goot!
Carabiner work really good too . I meant to mention that but forgot the show curtain hooks are cheap and what most companies use . I really like the belt loop idea 💡, never even thought about that
I do belt loop. Also bought stainless Drinds and wire tied them to my sand spikes for surf fishing. Now can clip a carabiner to spike...have towel on the rod holder.
Another great video once again. As far as the first hack I do the same thing but I don't use grommets. I fold the corners in fours and just below the tip I give a circular cut with a scissors. Then I dip in Plasti Dip and let dry. I keep multiples with me because a dry towel is the only thing that'll take off fish slime. Rinse at the end of trip . Keep up the good work and keep them coming
That's a cool idea. Some of my grommets on the first one I did are starting to come loose a lil. I'm gonna dip em and I'll bet that'll fix my problem. Thanks
Great video. I use my wife's old hair ties and thread my line through one and slip the it over my roll of fishing line. Works a treat to hold my line on the roll.
Bo That video was the BOMB , man I like the leader line holder, and the fish or shad holder, But that black light ROCKED , you know I just made a cheap black light for my boat, I sure wish I would have waited and did mine like yours. Heck I'll probably make some like this anyway. Great Video as always Brother. Can't wait until the next build
I’ve used those grommets for the same purpose. If you don’t want to do that. You can get a golf towel. They’re made the same way. I hook the towel from my belt loop and a rag is always within reach.
The elastic spool guide is a great hack I’ll be getting to work on it ASAP. To save a lot of labor on the towel grommets, I use tarp clips from Harbor Freight.
That is a handy idea, I may try that as well. Then I can add to my thermal tarp. I use for a floor in my ice shanty pop up using the ice spike 5'x7' for quick fish 3 use factory holes on the tarp match the shanty at two corners and has nearly one foot for the holesas a band of ice.
I made towels with grommets. Suggest doubling up the fabric in the corner. Makes it a bit stronger/sturdier. I love my towels I made. I use light weight carabiners.
Love the hacks, Keith. I've been using that towel setup for years. I have one for each tackle box. Sometimes I will clip the towel to my belt, especially when bank fishing. I will definitely be trying the black light hack and the line spool hacks. Thanks again for another awesome hack video.
I do a similar version of the towels but I use tarp clips with a carabiners and place the towel where the tarp would usually go, with the grommets they eventually tear out of the towel.
👍👍. Those were some decent hacks Buddy 🎣 . As for the live-well net , we call them ' keep net's . 3ft radius & up to 12ft long, using them in fishing torments. Or Stopping you from catching the same fish again. The up side of using them is. All of the other fish don't noticed, that someone is trying to catch them 🎣🙂
Some years back I bought a pop-up hamper from Walmart for about 10 bucks and it had a zippered opening. I'm a bank fisher, so it was great to have a what was basically a catch basket that I could tie down and it would fold up when I packed up. Love the hacks, keep on spreading the wealth my guy
Golf towels make great fishing towels. They already have a grommet and usually come with the shower hook as well. An on-off switch would be nice for the black light.
Love the DIY drill battery light. I was looking at buying one from Amazon pre built. They are like 70$. I had all the pieces already at home just needed the idea to make my own. Came out great. Thanks!
I Like that Light Hack myself and the laundry hamper hack and the hack where you made that thing to put around your fishing line.......Goo Gosh I Like ''em ALL😆😏😥🤣😂
Alrighty Keith, those are all purty good ideas. Especially the free labor part, unless those are your own, your own get purty expensive. All good ideas, like em all. Definitely be making up some of these. God bless you and your family, brother. Yall stay safe, keep up the great videos.
Genius as usual! I think you could glue a piece of pipe inside the center hole on a pool noodle to make a union and make it round or any shape you want. I have used spent .22 shell casings as brads on some of my knife sheaths and they turned out nice! I just had to cut the length down a lot. Thanks for sharing these great ideas and tips with us!
That hack of putting those grommets on shop towels is pretty dang awesome I have both and like to use rags when I go fishing so they trick is getting done soon !!! And the one on line spools is also a good 👍🏼 idea !!! Going to try both !!!
For the pool tubes connection, you can use an irrigation barbee fitting (usually one inch but whatever fits) and some zip ties to hold both ends together without heat.
them thin cut mats from walmart make a great insert for the generic cabela's bags, one in the bottom for a stiffer base, one to separate layers of boxes from everything else. great video as always!!
Great video as always. Like you, I'm a huge DYI guy. I built Blk lights for my boat last yr. I put mine on Scotty rod mount holder bracket. That way I can move it anywhere I'm casting at night. I use BERKLEY Flame orange line, it glows awesomely! I'll email you a couple pictures soon.
I do the grommets on my towels and also on a pair of gloves and keep them on a small caribiner from something I got free and hang the gloves and rag from my belt loop so if I need gloves fast for some reason they are right there
Buy small g string muscle shirts for fishing rags. You can hang them on your belt on your boat railing. If you want to. You can cut the shoulder straps and put snap on them.
Cool hack on the fishen line strap with the eye hole and stichen an eye and riveting it together, how about velcro stra with a eye hole for line quick and easy🎉
I am constantly getting drawn in by your videos!! I just can’t pass them up! And then I notice I have been watching your videos for 3 hours! Thanks brother for all your knowledge
Your fishing hacks are constantly getting better most of them are hard to beat
Thank you very much
@@FishinNStuff 👍 @1:47
Hack would work for a golf towel if anyone was interested in ⛳ not fishing 🎣 🤷🏼♂️
✌️
The black light on your fishing rods was very cool!!! Thank you for the great ideas!!! 👍🏻
Keep them coming man , love it!
Absolutely awesome. I mean who don’t like saving money and still having great accessories. Best of the Best right here people!!!!
I don't think your mind never sleeps lol 😊great job

@@jamesclark5679 I like it better than grommets deteriorate rubber doesn't 😁
My favorite is the black light hack. Thx
In professional kitchens we put a damp towel under the cutting board so it won't slip. Excellent content as always, Mr. Keith!
Well it was moving on my weld table . But what gets me are the slimy fish sliding around lol . Thank you buddy the wet towel is a good idea 💡
I love the laundra net live well!!!!
It is very nice. I made one twenty years ago for sorting and counting bait fish for resale. 👍👍
Pretty nifty video this go round. Thanks for giving me 3 new projects to put in front of what I should be doing…
You should really fuse the battery to load. Those tool batteries can discharge a ton and cause a fire really quick if something goes wrong.
Great hacks Keith as always . Reckon I'll try that line keeper thingy..... perfect for my spare fly reel spools !!
That’s what it looks like the first fly leaders rolls except there 1/4 “ wide
Dem dar fishin hacks REALLY ARE AWESOME!! 👍👍 2 thumbs up!!
A nice, simple pattern! I really like the dual use of the hair for wing and legs. Thank you for sharing!
That light is awesome
Great video. I use my wife's old hair ties and thread my line through one and slip the it over my roll of fishing line. Works a treat to hold my line on the roll.

Sweet hacks. Black light works awesome
Those fishing hacks are SUPER AWESOME from start to finish. 👍
Nice job with the kids.
Thank you . The kids were awesome
The elastic spool guide is a great hack I’ll be getting to work on it ASAP.
To save a lot of labor on the towel grommets, I use tarp clips from Harbor Freight.
Good idea
I just cut the towel use a poke with a knife, use coat hanger cutting a 3" piece make about 1" loop for the ring

And remember go fishing when you can because it's good for you 😊
@@gofishingwhenyoucan lol
Towel hack is useful. Since I don’t Golf anymore, I use a couple golf towels - easy to clean.
Yup,, Purty Dang Awesome right there y'all 🐡🐟🎣🤠🇺🇸
Thank you
You are awesome with your videos. Take some shelf liner off a roll and lay on cutting board to keep your fish from sliding.
For hack #2 I sew a button between the ends and run the line through it. (Seems easier and cheaper than rivets and grommets LOVE your hacks
Thank you very much . A button ? I like the way you think 🤔
You are very creative.
Thank you
The square bar mats work great for fillet mats!
Cool ideas brother... how long do the lights last on a full charge?
Love the hacks, Keith. I've been using that towel setup for years. I have one for each tackle box. Sometimes I will clip the towel to my belt, especially when bank fishing. I will definitely be trying the black light hack and the line spool hacks. Thanks again for another awesome hack video.
Did this for years until I found glove clips on Amazon
I do a similar version of the towels but I use tarp clips with a carabiners and place the towel where the tarp would usually go, with the grommets they eventually tear out of the towel.
Do you think you could buy harbor freight batteries to power a fish finder on a kayak the same way you power those lights?
If you can find the Adapter for those batteries , then you most definitely can . Bass fishermen power their electronics with drill batteries
👍👍. Those were some decent hacks Buddy 🎣 . As for the live-well net , we call them ' keep net's . 3ft radius & up to 12ft long, using them in fishing torments. Good stuff Keith! I gotta try these
On fishing line spools I use rubber bands to keep the line on it .
been doing the same for years as well as cutting a slit on the spool to pinch the line if elastic crumbles on the water.😂
Another great video. On Hack #4 could you crazy glue 2 silicone mats together on the edge to make a longer one?
Some years back I bought a pop-up hamper from Walmart for about 10 bucks and it had a zippered opening. I'm a bank fisher, so it was great to have a what was basically a catch basket that I could tie down and it would fold up when I packed up. Love the hacks, keep on spreading the wealth my guy

I like watching your videos my fishing 🎣 buddy Keith 😊
I’m with you on the black light hack, that was Awesome 😎.
I've used the floating net live well while kayaking. Great until a bass hit it hard trying to get the bluegill.
The man with the endless fishin hacks, I LOVE IT!!!👍👍🐠
Lol 😁 . Only time will tell lol
Love the DIY drill battery light. I was looking at buying one from Amazon pre built. They are like 70$. I had all the pieces already at home just needed the idea to make my own. Came out great. Thanks!
I really like the leader line keeper hack!

22 cases for brads or rivets . I really like that idea 💡
Well he'll I been making towels like that for years I got my idea from a golfer towel. Love the video 👍
Thank you Sir
I use the grommet hack on bright yellow microfiber towels to make a great flag to put on my kayak so I can be seen more easily.
That hack of putting those grommets on shop towels is pretty dang awesome I have both and like to use rags when I go fishing so they trick is getting done soon !!! And the one on line spools is also a good 👍🏼 idea !!! Going to try both !!!
Im just an idea guy i like to see if things will work lol but I really like both of those too . And I'll be using them myself also
Thank you
Heaps great ideas love the line keepers how great is that
As I have before great innovation
Keep on keeping on

Probably one of your best hack videos ever!!
Thank you
I run 4 of the Quans black lights up top on T-Top of my boat. Lights up them Hellcats & Madkatz at night!
These were some awesome hacks. I will definitely try them out.
This was the best video yet! I really like the black light hack. I will be doing this.
Well dog grommet😊
Awesome ❤
The blacklight hack on a battery is cool stuff.
I agree
Love your hacks
Another five great hacks Keith. I liked all of them.
Just bought an old jon boat I think I'm going to use hack number 1 and number 3. mount some lights and make removable clean mats for all surfaces
Great videos! Just don’t use acid core solder that you would use sweating copper pipes. Use solder meant for electronics with rosin core
I had that left over from doing stain glass . You obviously know more about soldering electronics than me lol 😆 thank you for the tip buddy
I found them silicone mats with the honeycomb pattern at the dollar store a few years back. Probably still find 'em there.
Great video! Consider adding a BMS so you don't risk damaging your lithium batteries by draining them too low.
That's a good idea
Great video as always. Like you, I'm a huge DYI guy. I built Blk lights for my boat last yr. I put mine on Scotty rod mount holder bracket. That way I can move it anywhere I'm casting at night. I use BERKLEY Flame orange line, it glows awesomely! I'll email you a couple pictures soon.
Thank you I'd like to see those
I found a rag once with a grommet in it and it was so handy. I gotta find that thing.
I do the grommets on my towels and also on a pair of gloves and keep them on a small caribiner from something I got free and hang the gloves and rag from my belt loop so if I need gloves fast for some reason they are right there
You crack me up.
I watch your videos when I can
Thank you very much for watching
Let’s see a video touring your shop!! Want to see that work bench your always using
Loved the line hack❤❤❤❤
Outstanding!!! I Learn new tricks every time..
Buy small g string muscle shirts for fishing rags. You can hang them on your belt on your boat railing. If you want to. You can cut the shoulder straps and put snap on them.
The rods did look cool glowing .
But for where do u use blk light for fishing .
I've heard of blue or green light on the back of boats
To attract fish
Cool hack on the fishen line strap with the eye hole and stichen an eye and riveting it together, how about velcro stra with a eye hole for line quick and easy🎉
Great hacks, how do you keep your black light setup from bouncing out of your boat? would you use velcro tape
I am constantly getting drawn in by your videos!! I just can’t pass them up! And then I notice I have been watching your videos for 3 hours! Thanks brother for all your knowledge
Thanks for watching my videos for 3 hours lol I appreciate your support
The leader line hack is awesome
Lime spool trick is nice
NICE!!!! More please!
I like the light hack !
Awesome as ever
Another hack.... put dry spray hairspray on your pvc so the pool noodles slide easy🤟🏼
