But to actually commit to it takes both mentality and will power. They both did a job good in life. His father helped him see, but he did the dirty work, and that's what dads are suppose to do.

I had a girlfriend for a year, loved her over everything. We split and soon I wanted her back. She played around with me a lot and I thought, that I was never going to find another girl. One month on antidepressants, one month of skipping school often, one month of beeing brought to my knees and one month of feeling completely defeated. Did I give up? Hell no. I started going to all my classes again, started going there even if I only had 3 hours of sleep, just push trough and start acting. Two weeks ago I met a very nice girl, now dating, my grades are better and I bettered myself as a whole. I don't know if my story can help anybody out there but if I can only help 1 person, it's already worth sharing ☝🏻

Goosebumps! Powerful. My son is in this video, he is the basketball player wearing the green Mexican U15 National Team Jersey, he had just got back form playing with the U15 team in Mexico. That footage was taken when he was entering his Freshmen year at Alisal HS in Salinas, CA. Now he is a senior this year and this video came at the perfect time in our lives. College decisions, final year of HS basketball and decision time for his future. We are all in awe that we saw this video for the first time, someone is sending us a message. For the longest time I took it offensive when someone would say "You are just like your father." For the longest time I hated hearing that, because my dad and I didn't get along. I never realized he was checking me and pushing me farther than I wanted to go because he saw my potential and I was set on being complacent in where I was. It only clicked when we sat and talked for the better part of 13 hours, after I moved out at 17, didn't speak to my parents for over a year. I listened to him and took his advice and now I am 22 with a job making more than I ever thought I could ever make and doing what I love. I owe it to my father for making me see my full potential, and helping me reach my peak.
I am 23 with a very similar story. I just got out of the army last year and lacked some direction in life. I had just had a moment of realization that everything my father did in my life was for me to move forward. I have nothing but respect for him and hope I can be half the man he is one day💪🏼✊🏼

I used to race motorcycles, I suffered a traumatic brain injury and for 19 years I was having mini strokes because of a blood clot but they could not reach in my brain. I had over 33,000 mini-strokes, in that 19 years. in addition five major Strokes that left me completely bedridden and could not move walk or talk. All while I was suffering that 4 of my longest and closest friends passed away and I was unable to go to their funerals. At the same time my wife of 9 years walked into the bedroom two and a half years ago, and told me she did not love me anymore, had found someone else, and was divorcing me. All I could do is listen and have my eyes filled with tears. The doctor said I would never walk talk or anything again! I made up my mind I was not going to listen to anyone, and I was so pissed off at that b**** for doing me the way she did me when I needed her the most that I pushed myself now we are divorced, I can walk run talk and I started lifting the irons and working out again. I am in the best shape of my life. I am a musician and they told me I would never be able to play a guitar again, well guess what I can play better than I have ever played. Everyone was always down on me telling me not to try that, not to work out, not to try to follow my dreams, and I'm here to tell you if you put your mind to it and don't listen to those people who are telling you you can't! Prove them wrong! Do you hear me? Prove them wrong! I am 53 years old and three quarters of my life has already passed by. I do not know your age but I'm sure you are a lot younger than me. Do not ever let anyone steal your joy or your dreams, that should make you want to work harder to prove them wrong. If you do not listen to anything else or anyone else, listen to me! Prove them wrong! Do not let anyone break your heart and tell you you can't, because you can! Luke Gardenhire its just my hypothesis but after reading your comment I now believe that its about being a person the heavenly father would like to reflected as. Maybe he wants to live the human existence through us but free will keeps Him “dodging punches”. Maybe that is why he says all is forgiven if we believe and repent knowing that we are sinners throwing those punches.

I'm about to be a Senior in highschool and I started playing ice hockey as a freshman. I've been basically benched for three years but I have the dream of being an NHL player. I've been working everyday, saving up my money to buy exercise and hockey equipment and a gym membership. I believe I have the shark mindset and when you see #56 Wedo in the NHL, just know I worked hard to get there.

I got hurt running and I’ve tried to come back for years now. Everytime I think I can come back and I’m healthy I keep feeling like I can’t. I don’t think I’m hurt anymore I went through Physical therapy and I’ve taken essentially years off. I promised everyone I would come back faster and stronger but I have yet to start up again. I just keep giving up and letting myself down. Thanks for this video.

My leadership Teacher does power up Wednesday and she puts on positive videos and motivation on Wednesday. It helped me alot, because I was depressed and suicidal and I don't think she knew that, but I told her that she helped me to open my eyes and I got myself into Positive City again. I can't thank her enough for what she have done. She is truly the best, not just a teacher, a great friend I've ever met and had.

For the longest time I took it offensive when someone would say "You are just like your father." For the longest time I hated hearing that, because my dad and I didn't get along. I never realized he was checking me and pushing me farther than I wanted to go because he saw my potential and I was set on being complacent in where I was. It only clicked when we sat and talked for the better part of 13 hours, after I moved out at 17, didn't speak to my parents for over a year. I listened to him and took his advice and now I am 22 with a job making more than I ever thought I could ever make and doing what I love. I owe it to my father for making me see my full potential, and helping me reach my peak.

I am 23 with a very similar story. I just got out of the army last year and lacked some direction in life. I had just had a moment of realization that everything my father did in my life was for me to move forward. I have nothing but respect for him and hope I can be half the man he is one day💪🏼✊🏼

No, just survival, if we die now, we aren't successful as a species. And out inteligence lets us do dumber stuff, like war and nuclear bombs, polluation... etc.... we are unsuccessful as a species, considering that there are more ants than humans on earth, and that we may just die because of our intelligence, but they'll survive.

I used to race motorcycles, I suffered a traumatic brain injury and for 19 years I was having mini strokes because of a blood clot but they could not reach in my brain. I had over 33,000 mini-strokes, in that 19 years. in addition five major Strokes that left me completely bedridden and could not move walk or talk. All while I was suffering that 4 of my longest and closest friends passed away and I was unable to go to their funerals. At the same time my wife of 9 years walked into the bedroom two and a half years ago, and told me she did not love me anymore, had found someone else, and was divorcing me. All I could do is listen and have my eyes filled with tears. The doctor said I would never walk talk or anything again! I made up my mind I was not going to listen to anyone, and I was so pissed off at that b**** for doing me the way she did me when I needed her the most that I pushed myself now we are divorced, I can walk run talk and I started lifting the irons and working out again. I am in the best shape of my life. I am a musician and they told me I would never be able to play a guitar again, well guess what I can play better than I have ever played. Everyone was always down on me telling me not to try that, not to work out, not to try to follow my dreams, and I'm here to tell you if you put your mind to it and don't listen to those people who are telling you you can't! Prove them wrong! Do you hear me? Prove them wrong! I am 53 years old and three quarters of my life has already passed by. I do not know your age but I'm sure you are a lot younger than me. Do not ever let anyone steal your joy or your dreams, that should make you want to work harder to prove them wrong. If you do not listen to anything else or anyone else, listen to me! Prove them wrong! Do not let anyone break your heart and tell you you can't, because you can! It's going to take some work and you are going to have to be in that mindset of you can do it you will do it and you must do it! Prove them wrong! If not just for you, do it for me!!!

Luke Gardenhire its just my hypothesis but after reading your comment I now believe that its about being a person the heavenly father would like to reflected as. Maybe he wants to live the human existence through us but free will keeps Him “dodging punches”. Maybe that is why he says all is forgiven if we believe and repent knowing that we are sinners throwing those punches.

Don't quit don't give up I'm a girl and my dream is to play in the NHL. My dad told me that I probably won't make it. My life goal is to become one of the best hockey players to ever touch the ice. I begged my mom to get me into hockey, and it still hasn't happened . I'm 12 and I still won't give up so I don't want anyone to, so if you're thinking of making it to the pros then you need to fight harder then everyone else and you might just make it. Don't give up.

I'm about to be a Senior in highschool and I started playing ice hockey as a freshman. I've been basically benched for three years but I have the dream of being an NHL player. I've been working everyday, saving up my money to buy exercise and hockey equipment and a gym membership. I believe I have the shark mindset and when you see #56 Wedo in the NHL, just know I worked hard to get there.

I got hurt running and I’ve tried to come back for years now. Everytime I think I can come back and I’m healthy I keep feeling like I can’t. I don’t think I’m hurt anymore I went through Physical therapy and I’ve taken essentially years off. I promised everyone I would come back faster and stronger but I have yet to start up again. I just keep giving up and letting myself down. Thanks for this video.

My leadership Teacher does power up Wednesday and she puts on positive videos and motivation on Wednesday. It helped me alot, because I was depressed and suicidal and I don't think she knew that, but I told her that she helped me to open my eyes and I got myself into Positive City again. I can't thank her enough for what she have done. She is truly the best, not just a teacher, a great friend I've ever met and had.
