Speedy Gonzales was one of my favorite characters as he reminded me of the Road Runner where like the Road Runner Speedy had a habit of showing up behind people and scaring the crap out of them the way he does making them jump like 20 to 30 feet into the air.

One episode of Looney Tunes I liked was the race between Speedy Gonzales and the Road Runner it was really hilarious especially with Sylvester the cat and Wile E. Coyote trying to get both of them sometimes using schemes the Coyote used before and always failed blowing up literally and figuratively right in they're faces.
When I was a kid, we had a kitten we named Speedy Gonzales. From the moment it learn to walk, no one could catch that thing. It ran so fast when we came. All the other kittens normal. After a few years I watched it run under and behind a large stack of fir wood. Never to be seen again. I thought maybe the wood shifted and got it. Always made me nervous that year to fetch the fire wood, being I thought I would find it dead. In the end 8 months later their was no cat. We lived on 2 1/2 acres, so it had room to roam. Love these cartoons and this made me believe that our speedy was fine.
I'm guessing that's what Sylvester is thought of that as he was falling. Sylvester is Like Wile E Coyote and Speedy is the Roadrunner for Speedy Gonzalez LT Cartoons.
