Finally someone went straight to the point and gave direct figures..1kg of seeds produces 7kg of fodder..this is something so many videos about fodder never want to reveal. I've seen so many people make long videos about the viability of fodder and still miss out on this simple bit of information.i love simplicity. thank you sir.
Most welcome
yeah but these grass sprouts are 90% water and contain less calories than the initial grain... It is a waste of nutrition
@@vineleak7676 how about you do a video explaining this? You missed my point obviously...give details. This person has at least given details, it's up to me whether I want to try it out or not. I'm not gonna discredit or disregard what he's saying cos someone just randomly said "it's a waste of nutrients"
@@TongTong-rh3br its logical, the grains are sprouted in the shade, the plants will consume the starch, oil and protein that was stored in the seed to grow, build new cells... Since the sprouts are grown in the shade, they do not accumulate any new energy from the sun but only consume the energy stores they had... It will be a net loss and a significant one, almost all the starch will have been converted into sugars and consumed by the plant to grow...
@@vineleak7676 Sprout is much more easy to digests compared to dry grain. Whatever nutrition lost during germination is insignificant compared to the nutrient absorbed from the sprout.
Basically grain = more nutrition, hard to digest, less nutrition absorbed by the animal. Sprout : less nutrition, easy to absorb, more nutrition absorbed.
Your explanations are very explicit. Indeed you're transferring knowledge/Technology, which is good for anyone to learn. God bless you abundantly and increase your business.
Wow, Amazing! African brothers explain every every well.
I’m glad my friends introduced me to this page 😭❤️🙌🏼🔥
Great information video about feeding but you don’t have to feed 100% sprouts 🌱 you can still feed other grains and vegetables and fruits as well for a truly balanced diet of organic feed animals great video doing a good job your animals love their food and are very happy and healthy by the way the look and act

I really like the good work you're doing. These stories motivate and inspire me. I have one issue, though: what's the problem with your cameraman, bro? The guys focus is just off. He doesn't focus on the subject when he needs to. Kindly do something about this. Cha mwisho, please adopt a script. At least let's have an intro, body, and outro. Thanks
Thanks for great information and knowledge we are getting from the videos. My qns are
1.if I don't have worm tea which other nutrients can I use.
2. Whats the performance of foder to broilers and kuroilers. I mean the growth rate as compared to commercial feeds.
Thanks
You can make tea from leaves of comfrey, stinging nettle as well but don't worry much as long as you water thrice. 2.great and you will reduce the feeds by 60%
@@kipkemoilangat5340 what of the growth rate of broilers and kuroilers
This is beautiful content loving it's learning so so much.two questions one do you train, sell the trays. Two what is that warm tea I did not understand. Otherwise amazing amazing content
Yes we train.we don't sell trays but have contact 2.worm tea comes from vermicompost [red earthworms]
Thanks very much for the enlightenment. Please elaborate more on how to make the additives for mixing with water for irrigation [the brownish liquid]
That comes from vermicompost[red earthworms]
Wapi macha
Past Athi River ,past Dayster University there is Small world county club before Simba Cement. 12km from small world but will pick you at small world
Always informative, fantastic work. Kindly share the number for the farm.
i love it! the question that comes to my mind: how is the lighting done? is it natural, or is it artificial light by lamps? or maybe both? i would be glad to know.
Thanks for your question.here we rely on Natural light mostly.
The animals can't seem to wait for it😅
Great idea and knowledge. I will try this. But is this served as supplement or one still needs to serve dry feed?
Normal feeds.if feeding to ruminating animals you don't water a day to harvesting time.
need a training of this.
The best channel, i keep learning about chicken and goat farming. Soon I will relocate to the village and escape prison life in the cities. I want farm animals to be my friends
This is a very good information I'm moses from uganda
The barley sprouts are highly nutritious to humans too if prepared with hygiene. Just the sprouts though without the seeds and the roots
Thank you for the precious information, I want to give you one million like. Which kind of seed did you use, because I can't hear or see really good.
Barley. Thanks
Thanks for the wonderful information but I would like to get more information about that WARM TEA foliar
Start a worm farm, using red worms as they are suited to containers, then collect the liquid it produces. You can dilute that tea.
That vermicompost or red wriggler earthworms. The liquid we get is worm tea and solid is worm casting.thanks
@kazzana good work
Do you give other types of feeds to the chickens in addition to the folder or the folder only is enough?
I really like your program, please continue the good work. My question is what is the mineral (warm tea) he used and where can i get the watering (spraying) equipment? Thank you.
The nozzle I got it from supermarket as well as Jumia
@@kipkemoilangat5340where to buy the warm tea?? Tutapata wapi hio minerals?
That tea was just the liquid from a worm farm, probably watered down as it looked quite light in color. It makes for great plant food.
Warm tea ni gani
Amazing, good, good work. please elaborate on added nutrients.... where to get warm tea
Worm tea comes from vermicompost [red wriggler worms]earthworms
Pls are the red earthworms boiled and the liquid extracted or what sir?
👍👍👍👍

Hi, am Olive a small cattle farmer and i would like to start a hydroponic farming for my cows
What will be the slanting angle?
What if you did no have worm tea can you use any other organic tea? Also he first put water alone in the first tray and then plugged the worm tea later or did he just forget to plug the worm tea in the hose at the beginning? Also what is the ratio of the worm liquid to water?
Sprouted grains r very nutrious n great for human consumption, mang beans, peas etc
Good and great information as well.most people are thinking of fodder only forgetting that we do it for consumption as well
@carollynne5943
am interested in how we as humans can use this as food? Apart from dicotyledonous plants such as peas we use as greens for Ugali
@@ziokam1 Sprouts r most nutritious foods on the planet for being bioavailable. Carbohydrates turn to sugars n proteins to aminoacids.sprouts are eaten raw n mould is a killer.Google for more info.
Thanks for this amazing video... kindly how do I get this worm tea
or rather where do I buy it
We sell them @ksh 1000 per kilo
You said you added nutrients to the water what is the name of the nutrient is it warm tea or what please can I get answers?
Merhaba bayım

Hi AIM Agriculture, can hydroponic fodder grow well in a greenhouse? Thank you!
I believe that is the best environment for hydroponic fodder
Yes
where can I get these trays please
Can't I use available plastic containers instead of Fibre glass or aluminium trays for making the fodder.
Any available materials can do wonders so long as you are in it
Can't we use rice seeds.
thanks a lot for this information...but why put them on the ground during feeding.. please get some troughs or containers to feed the animals.
Animals eat from the ground, and his stalls were very clean.
Do have but we did that just because we had just cleaned the pens
Please I have a question… can you use this as your primary feed for grass cutter?
Can I get a answer please?🙏🏾
Yes
@@kipkemoilangat5340 thanks
It is the normal tea leaves used for making tea,
Comes from vermicompost [red earthworms] we called it worm tea
You can dilute it to look like normal tea, but it is the liquid from a worm farm. There are plenty of videos on making worm farms on you tube.
Where do you get the seeds to buy?
where do you buy whear and barley seed at 50 shillings, please share
Kindly
Good work
From Kitale
You can use also corn to prepare hydroponic fodder. With 1kg of corn it yield 7kg of fodder similar to the one in the video
Merci pour le partage mais vous négligez l’essentiel, l’espace arboré des animaux
How do I get the trays to grow my own fodder, n how much does it cost. And do they have different sizes?
Plastic trays would work too. Any shallow try that doesn't corrode would be ok.
What is the name of the farm please
The pigs looks like they don't like it but have no choice when hungry.
If they have overgrown or have moulds
The pigs looked very excited, up on their hind legs, peeking over the fence, so I would say they loved it. Not a natural environment for pigs though, only able to eat when fed, rather than grazing and rooting around all day. I guess they don't have enough land to rotational graze them outside. Shame as pigs would be great for prepping the vegie plot before planting. Pigs are intelligent animals, so it much be tough to be locked in small areas.
Can we please know the length, width, and depth of the growing trays? And what diameter hole is required for the water run off without loosing your seeds? Also, what seed mixes do they use? And, what ratio of each seed variety is used to create the aforementioned seed mixes?
1foot ×1m trays.small holes just to allow water drips to the next tray.you just need water for your sprout to strive.worm tea comes from red wriggler worms but as foliar.thanks.Langat
How can i get in touch please
Can fertilizer be used as additive to the water to provide nutrients
Yes, you could, but his point was for the farm to be self reliant as possible, hence using the liquid the worm farm produces, which is a great plant food.
What is this are you referring as warm tea?
Worm tea comes from vermicompost [red earthworms]
Bro what nutrients you give are you saying tea what we drink
no this is like an excrete from worms from a Vermiculture or artificial place u rear worms like earth worms etc. So u see this is not normal tea
Worm tea from red wriggler earthworms. Act as foliar
Where can I have the red tea pls I am in west Africa sierra- leone
From red wriggler earthworms
How much feed you give to a goat or pig in a day, out of 7kg hydroponic fodder
A pig consumes 3kgs meaning 1.5kg morning and 1.5 in evening.goats eat 10%of their body weight so approximately 4kg a day.
Where is this farm? I need to visit.
@kipkemoilangat5340 give us the farm contacts tuko wengi who want training, these feeds costs
How much does th trey cost did u mention th hot tea as nutrients
Worm tea comes from vermicompost [red earthworms]
Aluminium tray is ksh.600 and fibre glass tray ksh.900
Can you please help me put up this /such system in Uganda
Sure
Sir what is the measurement of your tray
1foot and length is 1metre
Do you mean Warm Tea?
Worm tea....tea from worms...
Yes worm tea from red wriggler earthworms
How do you make the tea to feed with?
Start a worm farm, using red worms normally, as they are suitable to keep in containers. Have a tap in the bottom to drain the liquid and use that liquid to feed your plants.
Ahhh. Thank you!
From the red wriggler earthworms. Will share the process
