I couldn't resist having some fun with the training episode, so here it is with Mulan's "Make a Man Out of You". Team Voltron start off hopelessly bad in their fighting and teamwork, but learned to work together.
I also couldn't resist putting in Pidge's line at the end, given the context of the song.

So this is officially my first exposure to the new Voltron... I feel like they took characters from Last Airbender/Legend of Korra and dumped them into the Voltron universe. I think that means I have to marathon it now. Also... just gotta say I love the fact that you're still making videos.

Marathoning Voltron is dangerous - it's the reason I've now made three videos, written half a fanfic, and had a ton of Tumblr discussions about the show... in about a week. :)
I'd say the characters are quite a bit different from Avatar, but with any story about a group of heroes saving the world and/or universe, you're going to get some of the same tropes.

this amv was really well done! the clips matched the song really well, the timings were great, and I think you definitely managed to capture a feeling of momentum and excitement. the appearance of the words "some assembly required" in the middle of the screen was pretty jarring, but other than that, everything was spot on. i'm definitely going to be sharing this with my voltron-loving friends.

This is so awesome! I definitely could never put something as good as this together. I can only imagine how long it took to piece those clips together and make them flow so well. At most I’d only be able to do stationary photos. Since I’ve never animated or put anything like that together! So that’s awesome! That being said I am attempting to create a Voltron theme of this song but with different words because I’m bored and I thought it would be fun🙂 I already have a couple of the lines planes out already.
