I haven't played minecraft in years, yet parkour hasn't changed. if you don't stop you can make it easy, if you do stop you have to regain momentum. you can get the momentum for that 4 block jump off of 1 block by jumping from the corner away and back onto the block and sprint immediately towards the jump. have these people only been playing customs with each other? does nobody set up a parkour map server and challenge one another anymore? if the creator of the map questions if a jump can be done or not, maybe change the jump. absolute garbage.

First thing I do after a fresh install of a modpack is to change sprint to left click. Your left hand will thank you. Makes platform jumping trivial.
