I am also (still) Protestant maybe going to be catholic because I accept that Mary and the saints hear the prayers, but God is also with the protestants, because the preacher of the protestant church gave me also messages and that comes from God.

@@youreapwhatyousow6057 Well God was definitely with me when I was a Protestant Preacher. He also led me into the fullness of the Faith in His holy Catholic Church. But the Catholic Church considers our Protestant Christian brethren ss "separated brethren " and recognizes baptism as long as its done properly ( in the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit) .Whereas many Evangelicals sadly, consider the Catholic Church to a false church and a cult, the whore of Babylon, etc. But yes, I had a genuine, real relationship with Jesus. But that relationship is a billion times better.

I was raised Baptist then got into nondenominational and being a musician for the church I saw alot of things happen and then a church split. I happen to come across Catholic Truth on social media and this has definitely changed my out look on "The Church" I have literally watched hundreds of Catholic Apologetics video and read several books on the matter. I 100% believe that the Catholic Church is the true church. I've been researching this over a year now, but like you I'm more of a closet Catholic right now, just trying to pray and figure out how to tell my family that are big time and I mean big time Baptist on one side of the family and nondenominational/ spirit filled on the other. Me and my wife are heavily pulled in both directions. If you can pray for us that would be greatly appreciated.

I will definitely be praying for you. I don't know if in watching various apologetics videos you've come across Tim Staples, but his testimony is not only that he a former Pentecostal and Baptist preacher , not only became Catholic , buy over time his family not only ( I mean parents and siblings) became Catholic but his pastor brother ( very anti-catholic) not only came into the Church but also that same brother ended up becoming a Catholic priest. So there is great hope for your family. God Bless.

I was a non practicing Catholic for the first 23 years of my life. It was an evangelical who ignited my faith. To this day I get really upset when I think about how many fellow Catholics I was surrounded by my whole life and not one of them ever spoke to me about the reality of Christ. That instead was left to an evangelical. I won’t go into details, but I did not end up in a Protestant or evangelical church. I instead remained in the Catholic Church, yet for 30 plus years I received most of my teaching from the Protestant world. Even though I concluded that much of what Protestants believed about Catholicism was misunderstood, I also concluded that much of what Catholics believed was often for the immature Christians who were still on milk and not solid food.
Praise God for all of the ex Protestants who have converted to Catholicism. Especially ex pastors such as this gentleman. They have caused me to research the early church and the teachings of the church that Christ founded. It has led to a growth in faith and real tangible changes in my life that have and continue to transform me more and more into who I was always meant to be.

@@EPH113 yes I have read the Didache and what many of the church fathers have said. Especially the early Church fathers. And just like Hugh in the video, I am utterly convinced that the Catholic Church and its teachings are true. There is no way of seeing this any differently when you study the early church, and what it believed for so many years. The evangelical churches as of today are really off course on many things, because they have strayed so far from the traditional teachings. Even the teachings of Luther. I have been in many of these debates, and nobody has been able to convince me otherwise. I have watched many videos and read many books on this subject, and while I once believed that the protestant church offered the best teachings and had good solid theology, I have now come to realize, how wrong I was for many years. All I can say is you really have to study the early church. Once somebody does that, and if they are honest, it becomes very difficult not to recognize the truth of the Catholic Church, unless of course they want to continue to cling to the traditions that they have been taught.

@@EPH113 honestly, that is such nonsense. It’s ridiculous and absurd to say the least. I’m sorry I have to just say it as it is. How you can draw such a conclusion is unbelievable. Without realizing it, you’re condemning the church, and saying that the gates of hell prevailed against it.

@@vinb2707 Hey thanks for your input, excellent evaluation. Oh and this person Eph1:23 is a Dispensationalist, a type of Protestant who follows the teachings of John Nelson Darby and C I Scofield. Thry taught that only Paul's epistles are for us today; that the 12 who followed Jesus didn't even understand the gospel; that they and the gospels themselves are only for the Jews. So they basically reduce the New Testament to the size of a pamphlet, as far as what's applicable to a Christian today. So they basically believe that the "real truth" was hidden away for around 1800 years, until Darby came along. A lot like Joseph Smith and Charles Taz Russel of Mormon and Jehovah's Witnesses fame. Only "Paul's Revelation ", they claim. 🤔🤦‍♂️🤪

@@EPH113 the problem is you’re getting your history from people to do not understand church history nor have read church history. It’s like learning about the United States from people in Spain or Portugal or France or China. Obviously they do not know American history and they will twist it to something that is non-recognizable. You need to really go back and examine the history of the church.

Wonderful testimony. I'm a Catholic from Poland - converted from atheism about 10years ago. I read and listened to hundreds of texts, people etc, so that it solidified my faith so much it seems more like knowing than believing. I always love conversion stories, and particularly two types - from atheism and from Protestantism. The first because of how someone found Jesus (or let himself be found rather), but the second is more like a healing of the Church. It seems like a huge open wound in the Mystical Body of Christ. Like a hand severed but haning by some threads. Painful, ghastly sight. It must pain Jesus a lot - as He prayed so for our Unity.
It's more then ever important for Christians to come together - the attack on the Church is growing stroneger and more wicked...
God bless you for the work you're doing now.
It was a pleasure to listen to.

Hello Hugh! I found faith in college in a non-denominational church. I had a very similar experience with hunger for knowledge and love for sharing the gospel to others. With that thirst for knowledge, I eventually dug deep enough to realize the truth of the Eucharist and the sacred tradition of the Catholic Church.

Thank you for sharing your story. I left Catholicism 9 years ago after being drawn to an Evangelical church, the experience brought me to Christ and I was blown away by the Bible, things I never knew as a Catholic despite going to church and CCD. I tried to discern some of the arguments for the sacraments as I made that difficult decision, but I found it all so confusing. I didn’t enjoy hearing Christian’s debating, in fact it almost made me give up Christianity completely were it not for God’s Grace. After all this time I think my faith is strong enough to look into some things I may be ignorant of such as church history. You did a great job explaining your rationale from a Protestants perspective, and I cannot say where it will lead me, but I can say I respect your courage and promise to pursue it further.

Hugh l just came across your podcast and am greatly appreciative of your tell-it-like-it-is attitude. Your third person narratives are one of my favorite parts! I too came home after a long journey from an evangelical background a little over three years ago. The experience has been challenging to say the least. It is hard finding a parish where people are actually interested in being disciples or understand the value and necessity of fellowship/communion. It has felt more like a desert wandering as opposed to a promise land. The proliferation of podcasts such as yours speaks directly to this fact. Outside of the internet my spiritual growth has mainly been through the internet which in part saddens me. I would appreciate your thoughts on after becoming Catholic how do we nourish ourselves and deepen the relationships between God and his church? Thanks again for using your light to shine the light for others.

We live in challenging times. I found a decent parish, and came in contact with Catholics who are serious in their faith, and very much on fire for God. But sadly there are parishes in my Diocese that are sadly in sad condition. I encourage you to seek out such places in the area in which you live. Sometimes you may find a chapter of The Chesterton Society, search the internet for one near you. These are groups that meet together to read and discuss Catholic writings by G.K. Chesterton. Such groups are usually comprised of serious Catholics. I will be praying for you. Thanks for your comments, and welcome home to Christ's Church. God Bless. 🙏

"After about 7 years of wrestling, I came out of the RCC about 3 months ago. It was an incredibly difficult decision, but I realized I couldn't keep sitting on the fence. I was stuck. Eventually I realized that regardless of whether some of the things the RCC teaches are true or not, if it requires me to commit even one idolatrous act or affirm one thing that is untrue, then I couldn't be a part of it. Something I just realized in the past couple of days is that the RCC has a different Gospel than the one I believe, and I'm not than the one I believe, and I'm not talking about the usual Protestant argument of faith vs works, etc. The RCC teaches that you have to accept all of its dogmas. As I understand the gospel, it is the simple truth that if someone repents of their sin and believes in Jesus they are saved. In effect, the RCC gospel is repent and believe in Jesus, believe in the Immaculate Conception, sinless life, and bodily assumption of Mary, believe that the first Pope was Peter and that there is a successive line of bishops who are infallible, believe in Purgatory and that your own merits and the merits of others can shorten or eliminate your time there, believe that forgiveness is only through a priest, and believe every other part of Cannon Law put forward by the Church. If you don't affirm any one of those beliefs you are anathematized according to the RCC. That's quite the burden if you ask me. It reminds me of the religious leaders in the time of Jesus, who had added so much to the Law that people were being crushed by it. I will pray that you get some clarity because I know what it feels like to be in that state of limbo.
It's like you want to be fully on board and on fire for Christ, but how can you do that if you don't even know what you believe yourself. At least that's how I experienced it. Either way, don't be afraid. If you are seeking with all your heart, God will direct you. Shalom."

I've considered Roman Catholicism, but the more I study history and the Bible, the less attracted I am to it.
I think the Eastern Church is better, but still has issues. You can see they too gradually departed from truth and started adding stuff over more stuff to the point that what you have today is a completely different religion than the one Jesus and the Apostles established.
Even when interpreting the Bible, it seems as if they take their brains off and start adding to the text and taking the Bible out of context. Thrt seem to be desperately looking for a way to justify their beliefs and practices instead of following the texts. So, the have ended up with a long list of invented doctrines generation after generation.

@@geoffjs SINGAPORE - Pope Francis on Friday wrapped up a three-day visit to Singapore by declaring that “all religions are a path to God”.
“They are like different languages in order to arrive at God, but God is God for all,” the Pope said, who had set aside his prepared text and spoke largely off the cuff. “Since God is God for all, then we are all children of God.”
The Pontiff made his remarks during a interreligious meeting with young people held at a Catholic junior college, just prior to departing Singapore for his return flight to Rome.

Nonsense, I can find many references of Christ and the Disciples saying absolutely do not do the things the Catholic Church does. Defenders of the faith… Where does Christ preach anything of this Churches usurped history? What authority? How does one call themselves “father!?” Have you not clearly understood Matthew!
It is written: 9And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. 11But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
    Please read Luke 11!

Jesus founded His One True Church Mt 16 18-19 that became known as Catholic or Universal in 110 which codified your bible in 382. His Church is the fullness of Truth 1 Tim 3:15 & has existed for 2000 yrs, in spite of sinful men, proof of its divine origin
No organisation, such as Protestantism can survive without hierarchy & a unifying authoritative interpreter, the fruits being confusion, division & scandal of 000’s of sects, resulting from personal interpretation, which is not of Jesus who willed unity Jn 17 11-21
No Protestant has ever been able to explain why personal interpretation, if guided by the Holy Spirit has resulted in 000’s sects proving that either the Holy Spirit is wrong or more likely, Protestantism! There are none so blind as those with a darkened intellect which the Holy Spirit obviously isn’t enlightening!
Consider the damage caused to society by relativism, caused by there being many “truths” of Protestantism which have resulted in contraception, which until 1930, all denominations prohibited until the Anglican broke away in 1930, abortion, IVF, divorce, SSM, LGBGT, transgenderism etc. Protestantism has a lot to answer for!

Hi Hugh, since you brought up the deuterocanonical books, I was wondering if you could comment on 2 Maccabees 15:37-39. It's very clear based on what the author says here that he was seeking to write something entertaining and interesting to give pleasure to his readers. That is not how Scripture speaks, I think we can both agree...can't we?
37 That is how things turned out for Nicanor. The city of Jerusalem remained in the possession of the Jewish people from that time on, so I will end my story here. 38 If it is well written and to the point, I am pleased; if it is poorly written and uninteresting, I have still done my best. 39 We know it is unhealthy to drink wine or water alone, whereas wine mixed with water makes a delightfully tasty drink. So also a good story skillfully written gives pleasure to those who read it. With this I conclude.

I appreciate you taking the time to share your journey. I was one of those who has hoped you would share this. As a former Roman Catholic and evangelical, I can relate to the experience of finding that professing Christians can be horrible sinners, and that there is no individual Christian, Church, or denomination that has a perfect grasp of God's truth. Or do you believe the current Catholic Church does have a perfect grasp of God's truth? I've been told by high profile TH-cam channel Catholics and individual Catholics, that what I believe is only salvific if I return to the Catholic Church. Do you believe salvation is dependent upon unity with the Catholic Church and the Pope? I believe that my current church is a faithful descendent of all those Councils that you speak of which occurred prior to the Lutheran Reformation. All those early Church Fathers are important contributors to my current church's doctrine as well as yours (of course you know the Fathers didn't agree on everything either and they are helpful only as far as they do no violence to scripture). In the 15th century, errors on the part of the organizational Church were becoming extreme and Huss was burned for pointing them out. In the 16th century the Church's continuity was maintained by a reformation. Not a perfect reformation, because sinners were involved. Martin Luther in his writing on the topic of re-baptism (dealing with the anti-Baptists of his day) clearly makes the point that Roman Catholics of his day were fully Christians, as he was. His issues were with the popes and the organization known as the Church, not with the doctrines of the Church as they agreed with scripture and were passed down from faithful ancestors in the faith. When you had warrior popes, popes who fathered children, multiple popes at the same time, these were not facts the average church goer knew of. But they were known by the Cardinals, bishops, magisterium of the organization known at that time as the Catholic Church. Where was the disciplining of the "vicar of Christ"? Yet, sinful Popes don't destroy God's Church, because the Church isn't a man made organization. It is His mystical body composed of those whom He is saving. Luther's criticism of the abuse of indulgences was certainly valid. It still is, as I see that indulgences are still given (I have just returned from a visit to Vatican City). I am happy for you if you have found in the Roman Catholic Church, a purer expression of God's truth. I see how you could, coming out of Evangelicalism as you did, especially the kind you describe. Much of what you fled, I also fled. Just as bad Popes don't destroy God's Church, neither did the failings of Martin Luther. We are all best served by attaching ourselves to a Christian Church which is optimally faithful to the truth of God. That seems to sum up what you shared in this video. I just wonder if you have come to the end of your journey, or if you will yet find a more faithful Church?

Does your church claim to be “The” church that Christ founded? Can it’s pastors be traced back to the 12 Apostles? The Catholic Church proclaims itself to be the True Church, for innumerable reasons. Focus on the doctrines which are conveniently laid out in the Catechism of the Catholic Church rather than “Catholic” opinions on social media. And study early Church History. I recently asked a Sola Scriptura Christian if he would follow Jesus no matter where that led - even if it led to the Catholic Church. He changed the subject. Too often the anti-Catholic prejudice is deeper than a person realizes and that can blind one to certain truths. So ask Jesus to lead you to the very Fullness of Christian Truth. Just be willing. ❤

The Roman Catholic Church has given tradition much weight when establishing and practicing her beliefs, yet the Bible clearly warns against this. In Matthew 15:3, the Lord Jesus Christ says, "Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?" Paul says, in Colossians 2:8, "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." Catholic writings are filled with phrases like "the Church teaches" or "tradition teaches" or "the Church has traditionally taught". In light of the above Scripture, shouldn't true Christian writings be filled with phrases like "the Bible says" or "according to the Scriptures"?
Friend, are you following God's pure words or are you following man's tradition? Perhaps you're thinking, "This is anti-Catholic hate literature!" No, actually, this tract is based on God’s word. If you doubt it, please check the references for yourself. What have you got to lose?
Even when Rome professes to believe the Bible, we must remember that the Catholic bible is very different from the written word of God. The Catholic Church includes several books in their Old Testament that are not God's word. The Catholic Council of Trent of 1541 placed a curse upon everyone who does not accept the Apocrypha as inspired Old Testament Scripture (See Catholic Encyclopedia). In doing so, the famous council pronounced a curse upon Jesus Christ and the New Testament writers!
In Matthew 23:35, Jesus said that the Old Testament began with Abel (The Book of Genesis) and ended with Zecharias (II Chronicles). Since the Hebrew Old Testament ends with II Chronicles, there is no room left for the Apocryphal books. This explains why the Lord Jesus and the New Testament writers never refer to the Apocrypha or quote it. These writings were not accepted as Scripture. So Jesus, Peter, James, Paul, John, Luke, and the rest are officially cursed by the Roman Catholic Church.
Lest someone claim that this is no longer a Catholic belief, we refer the reader to page 61 of the Catholic publication, Faith of Our Fathers, by Cardinal Gibbons:
If only one instance could be given in which the Church ceased to teach a doctrine which had been previously held, that single instance would be the death blow of her infallibility.
So there is no absolute Final Authority in the Catholic Church. There are dual authorities: tradition and the Catholic bible, which is entirely unscriptural (Isa. 8:20, Mat. 4:4, Col. 2:8, Mat. 15:3). God's word alone should be the Final Authority of any Christian institution.

Makes perfect sense to me, Hugh. It makes one wonder why some folks, like you and I, eventually get it and why some have not. We pray they will! Our faith embraces faith-and-reason, it takes everything into account, yet it doesn’t deny mystery. In fact, we even celebrate the Sacred Mysteries! A Grand Unified Theory, if one may put it so, it satisfies the mind as well as the heart. It is whole and organic. It is human. No surprise that there are knock-offs, imitators, distorters, imposters. And no surprise that it is the one body in this world that can be traced back 2000 years, and is in the unique position of being the only one attacked by everyone else: the Eastern Orthodox, Protestants, atheists and Satanists, at the very least. And this conforms to-and confirms-Our Lord’s promise that “If they have persecuted me, they will persecuted you as well”: we who are “in the world but not of the world”. Taken all together, it appears we have a dead give-away, one of these things is not like the others. Let us pray the holy rosary every day!

Those who earnestly seek the truth eventually discover it. I once believed that the concept of being "saved" was as straightforward as it is for many Protestants and Bible-alone Christians. However, the rejection of Mary, the Saints, Purgatory, the Priesthood, the Sacraments, and more opened my eyes to the complexities and true beauty of the FULLNESS of Christianity. We are in the end times (not the world) so be always watchful for errors coming from all sides as the enemies of the Church have done well to try to destroy her...but they will fail. God Bless +

I just got confirmed this easter. I liked and subbed first time ive seen you in the feed today. I was Calvinist for 10 years.... my family was totally sinking in sin. I felt i was elect, nothing i could do sin wise could jepordize my salvation. It got really bad my wife and i almost got a divorce and i prayed for god to show me what to do. Show me the path out of here. That night i went to bed researching calvin and luthers discussions. I had a dream about a catholic priest and a vision of the catholic church through some strange imagery. I woke up remembering every detail of the dream... to this day i still do.
I was thinking to myself all morning "catholic?! Im sure it wasnt god i mustve just seen too many exorcist movies". I was 100 percent sure catholics werent even christian. Anyway i tried to get back to my reformation study and found myself drawn to look into this catholic stuff. I assumed i would be satisfied that they were demonologists that distort the word for their man made money machine NWO religion. One by one everything i looked up, i was proven wrong. No matter how deep i dug into any issue they had an answer. Pretty soon i was getting mad at the people who taught me all that.

@@catholicskeptic I always appreciate ‘real’ and ‘honesty’ - not the superficial posing that has imposed itself on society since the 1990’s
Australia’s evangelicalism went down hill when the ‘Word Faith’ ministries of Kenneth Copeland and the like spread their tentacles into Australian households more strongly in the 1990s.
I was even labelled as being demonic from the pulpit simply for writing to the pastor with my reservations about his authoritative teaching on giving to receive 10 to 100 fold, as too many people were giving everything they had to God (the pastor) while coming to me for help with their bills… and the pastor was living showing off God’s financial grace with material acquisitions. That was my last day in the local church scene. Especially when the people I had so graciously shared meals with, helped out with both my time and resources decided that I was not a fit person to associate with… Hehehe… Luckily I have thick skin… :)
I remember one guy that I had helped quite a bit, trying to embarrass me in front of a group of people in our local petrol (gas) station while I was ordering my lunch. I still remember the short; sharp, two sentence exchange… ‘I haven’t seen you in church for quite a while David. God wont be pleased.’ My reply across the small crowd that stood between us at the counter, ‘Why would I go to a church with people like you inhabiting the pews?’
The same guy told me months before that God had laid on his heart to ask me for $2000 odd dollars to fix his car because I would receive 100 fold for blessing him. Thankfully I didn’t hand over the money… :)
Ah… the joys of dealing with self serving people. Thankfully I learned a good lesson from that episode in my life.

One thing I do not understand is how one who changes from one religious denomination to another and both say the Holy Spirit told me to get out to the one I belong to and go to this one if both have received the same Holy Spirit. Don't we all have one and the same Holy Spirit? Should He be consistent in telling the same thing to one and the same to the other one? It seems that one has a Holy Spirit and the other one has a different one. It does not make any sense. There must be only one religion or one church that is true and all the other ones are teaching the wrong gospel and are false and heretic.
As an example a Catholic becomes a protestant and a protestant becomes a Catholic and both say the Holy Spirit told me to change. This is what we call the law of noncontradiction. Both cannot be right, one is right and the other one is wrong, or both are wrong.
One way to know which religion is the right one and the false one is just by believing one important passage of the Bible which is in John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The Roman Catholic religion does not believe or teach their parishioners about doing that. They say you are born again when you get baptized as a baby and receive the seventh sacrament and you by being a former protestant know what it really means. If Catholics think it is not necessary to get baptized as an adult to receive the Holy Spirit which the Bible says we must then I would say all Catholics are heading straight to hell because they cannot enter God's kingdom if they are not born from above in the Holy Spirit. Why would you join a religion that teaches lies and you know what the Bible says all liars will have their part in the lake of fire. It only takes one lie to end in hell. Why be partaking in the wrong religion that will send you and them to hell.

In other words… you went from false convert Christianity to mystery religion while you weren’t even qualified to be a pastor to begin with - having never counted the cost.
But at least you sure made an exciting way to out yourself.
    Here’s your life verse
    1 John 2:19
“They went out from us but they were never really of us, for if they had been of us they would have remained with us, but they went out so that it would be shown that they are all not of us. “

Did you not just do the self same thing you accuse me of, you hypocrite?
You slandered me with the accusation of being Satan. The odd part is you’re assuming yourself to be of the brethren - where in reality, as a Catholic you couldn’t be further from Christianity.
You posted the video asserting that you used to be a Christian pastor and then you apostatized to Roman Catholicism. By the very fact that you would choose another gospel of another Christ, one that has no power to save - demonstrates that you were never of the faith according to 1John 2:19.
What you’re having such a hard time with, is the fact that I’m calling you out as a “pretender”. What concerns me the most is that you’re leading others towards a works based religion, ultimately leading other people down the path that you’ve marked out to be heaven but leads straight to hell.
You’re also being dishonest by assuming that you were ever a Christian to begin with even as one who wore the title “Pastor“.
Let me help you see clearly the ridiculousness of your error.
You’re not born again. Otherwise you couldn’t have left Christianity to turn to another gospel. The implication being that you assume that you could’ve lost your salvation. If you could lose your salvation you absolutely would. Salvation is not up to you. And so therefore it’s not up to one to lose it either.
      Let me ask you this,
What role did you play or contribution did you make to your own physical birth?
You made none. It would be an absurdity to conclude otherwise.
Therefore what role could you play or contribution could you make to your own spiritual birth?
None whatsoever. It’s just as equally a ridiculous absurdity to assume otherwise.
John 3 would show you this, and yet scripture is veiled to your understanding and it’s for this reason that you have become Catholic - because you lack discernment. Discernment is not optional for the Christian - it’s commanded by scripture.
I find it ignorant that you resort to maligning me as the “accuser of the brethren”, but that’s precisely what you’re doing - making an accusation against one who is in Christ.
Furthermore, you don’t believe that you’re saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to scripture alone, to the glory of God alone. Instead rather, you rely upon your works to save you, along with your prayers to a dead woman who has never heard you…..along with your prayers to dead saints and apostles who have never heard you either.
This is a sinful practice that you’re participating in. It’s called necromancy. You’re participating in spiritism and divination just like somebody who is conducting a séance. You’re trying to communicate to the dead, and even if you “supposedly“ received an answer from the dead, you are communicating with nothing more than demons.
Dead people don’t talk. They’re dead.
Your approach to salvation is one that holds to this idea of your participation with God in order to save you - that’s called synergism. In other words, you believe that you have to be good enough to merit salvation. This is both unbiblical and distinctly non-Christian.
Genuine contrition leading to salvation has absolutely nothing to do with your participation, but rather God‘s drawing you to Himself unto salvation. You can’t be good enough to merit salvation whatsoever, for Christ came not for the righteous but for wicked sinners like you and I. He has to open the eyes of our understanding to see that we are completely lost and can never do anything to earn salvation nor can we ever deserve the grace and mercy won by Jesus Christ.
The Jesus that you hold to is not the one of scripture. Your Jesus is born of a perpetual virgin who herself came from a virgin birth from her mother. Its this Jesus that you believe in who is a counterfeit Christ and he isn’t God for the very sake that you believe that Mary is the mother of God. This is unbiblical because God cannot be created. Moreover this mother Mary whom you worship -( yes I know you call it venerate and it’s a distinction without a difference that you’re making ) - If she was a perpetual virgin, this means that Jesus didn’t have any half brothers and half sisters. This is also unbiblical. This would also infer that Mary would’ve denied Joseph their marital union of being one flesh for not having consummated their marriage. This is sinful and is completely unbiblical.
I know you think of yourself as a Christian, but once again I really am trying to convert you back to your Catholicism so that you can understand that you really are apart from Christ and have never been a Christian. This is the most loving thing I can do for you - giving you the truth. This makes me most like Christ when I do this. The most unloving thing I could do would be to affirm that you are saved and are a Christian and have nothing to worry about. But then I would be believing lies just like you-deceived and deceiving others. This is when you’re most like Satan.
Apart from your assertion - I have a genuine concern for where are you are heading to spend eternity. I can say it grieves my heart what I am hearing you say because even as a very shallow pastor that was leading others… you yourself did not examine yourself to see whether you were in the faith. This is what I mean when I said “you did not count the cost”, You were never born again.
Let me encourage you to repent for your idolatry, for your necromancy, for your false teaching, for believing this deception that you are under, for following after another Christ of another gospel - one that has no power to save, and for leading others into the same deception that you’re sinking in. You can’t earn salvation and there is no such thing as purgatory. Don’t rely upon your own goodness to save you because you haven’t got any, you’re just like everybody else.
Sir, I don’t hate you. I hate what you’re espousing and misleading others to follow after through your example. This is reprehensible.
Can I encourage you next time perhaps to engage in dialogue rather than only giving into character assassination? You should always be ready with an answer to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that’s within you.
You demonstrated no concerns for me no heart to shepherd one whom you would assert to be a lost person. And yet by the same token, you call yourself a Christian and in the same breath Emmaline one who is in Christ. Your forked tongue sticks out of both sides of your mouth. It would be better for you to bite it off than it would be to spread more of your lies.

@@jeremiahyeo5863With your long winded nonsense will never discover the Truth!

I love your straight talk. Jesus leads his lambs to the Catholic church.
Jesus says “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber; - John 10:1
That should tell people that there is a door to his pasture and there is way to enter the pasture without going thru the door. That should scare people who don't know where that door is.

Thanks, Jesus is the truth, and told us He came to bring truth, and said," everyone that is of truth hears My voice". ( John 18:37). I can't imagine saying anything about Christ or His Church that is not clear and truthful and direct". I hope and pray my channel is effective, and if it is at all, it is by His Grace, and to His Glory. Please pray for me, God Bless.

As non denominational christian through my own observations and external inquiry, all i observed about protestantism is the devisiveness..and schisms and more a more churches. We need a strong united cathllic church without which our western society will collapse and is collapsing before our eyes

Yeah it’s true that as Jesus stated his church upon Peter the Rock and also gave the other apostles holy authority and Impowerment to teach and feed the flock of his church,it was the replacement of the Old Testament hierarchy and priesthood of the Old Testament that God had started from Moses. Also noticed this that in the Old Testament hierarchy there was appointed a high priest at the head of the hierarchy,so also did Jesus appoint a head of his hierarchy in the New Testament and that’s so obvious!
