I think Jay Leno would've been the only late night host to not be criticizing President Trump. He would just ignore Politics (like they all should). He ruined it with the whole Conan situation, but Leno was great and is still funny on Tim Allen's Last Man Standing. Donald Trump, still the same, the Greatest President of our Generation.

I think Letterman really understood Trump and accepted he was up to the fight with him... perhaps fearing what Trump was not showing: honesty instead of lies... that is scary. But then Letterman liked Hussein Obama's presidency... he was then not that intelligent after all
