I do like the design of Toxic, because it allows you to pressure an opponent's life total in addition to poison It's unfortunate that it's going to be impossible to correctly play Ixhel over Spelltable though
Hello :) what do you think about adding Lightning Graves to this deck? It would protect Ixhel form targeted removal and give her much needed Haste to spread "gift of Phyresis" faster. Other cards I'd recommend are Infectious Bite (2 CMC) and Vraska's Fall (3 CMC) - both serve as a way to give poison counters to opponents directly with possibility of being a fine removal spells. Also, could you provide the decklist for your build?
good video, i literally gasped out loud when you broke down tainted strike's poison interactions with ixhel. have you considered running Planewide Celebration, from War of the Spark? yeah, it's on the upper end of the mana curve, but proliferate 4x is certainly nothing to sneeze at.
My playgroup has already had the rule zero discussion that Toxic has an immediate mugging response. So whoever decides to play it, cant complain because its their job to either tune it to be able to defend themselves or dont play it
As in they don't do buddy plays and spread the damage, but will always target you if you are currently the biggest threat. If so, fair enough. If you mean they all gang up and ignore each other completely until you die, and the poison player have to play 1vs3, then thats pretty "toxic".
I'm more interested in getting value off that end step trigger than in poison kills... drop Ichor Rats, proliferate twice, then be happy "drawing" three cards every end step. 😁 It probably reduces my chances of being hated out of the game too. 🥲
I came for information on Ixhel since I'm going to use her as my next commander. I'm staying for your voice. Stellar.
So glad you liked the video! 😀

Both very good points! 😃

It's interesting how everybody seems to have the same reaction to poison decks. I guess the threat of dying to 10 damage is pretty scary! 🤔
@@AffinityForCommander It's pretty much the exact same reaction I've been getting for playing Kaalia for years
This guy's voice is to deep for his face.
As he is regularly told! 😂
Fahey Avenue
I'm building her. I think she's very fun.
She certainly looks it! 😁
This deck is awful to play against it just takes all the fun out of it
It definitely puts a target on the player's head, but I've actually had a blast playing against it! Keep an eye out for gameplay coming soon! 👀

Poison for value! 😁
