I danced with my mom!
Now, for those of you who know me, you're probably wondering how that actually happened. You see, my mom passed away on July 5, 2016 so it would be pretty hard to actually dance with my mom in the physical sense.
But, this was a DREAM I had of my mom and me dancing and it felt so real. The emotion was real, the song we were singing was real (yes, we were actually singing) and the dance was real. But, the reason we were dancing was what really made it special.
She was proud of me!
When I started my entrepreneurial journey, I didn't tell my mom right away because I didn't want to hear the negative things that might have come out of her mouth.
Can any of you relate to that?
You are the one who has the crazy dreams to do BIG THINGS but your family doubts you or doesn't understand or BELIEVE in you or your dream, or worse, your ability to accomplish the dream.
They don't mean any harm by these thoughts or their unsupportive words, they just don't understand the entrepreneurial journey - probably because no one in your family has ever done that before.
