My respect to Hon K T Hammond for the peaceful manner he intervened. Ghana did not need this rancor. But if Muntaka and his men had not insisted on the secret ballot, would the other side have continued to violate the standing orders?
This sin against the constitution be investigated. Those who ordered the soldiers to invade the chamber must be prosecuted and the soldiers dealt. The incoming government must set up a committee to deal with it.
JoyFm commentators coming through with a whole lot of eloquence bearing no logic. Such double standards. It was arguments and protests that got the clerk to concede yet still you're expressing disappoint when the same two things, arguments and protests (ballot box being lifted is an expression of protest in this context) have been exercised to stop a flawed proceeding. You'd prefer ballot papers to be shown so recourse can be addressed when? After the voting?
All this we see now tells us clearly that our leaders are not ready to serve the very good of Ghana but for their own interests. Shame to both all parties.
Can't you commentators be truthful for once? Once a soldier always a soldier! Rubish gorvement!! A robber will always remain a robber too sad! Say the truth or we stop watching your post!!
