This is so much better than the original. It's good songwriting for sure, but musically the original has a certain aspect to it that's kind of grating. When I had to learn it, I was like nah this won't work. Did a wedding where the original was on the setlist for dinner for us to play live. I called an audible to this version at soundcheck. Went over very well and it fit so much better!
