I think the old Nemo exists and he has lived all the possible lives (as he wakes up and get confused with names , he calls jean as Elise , and seems lost in many cases , even when he met Ana in one of possible timelines he acted as if he knew her )and due to his age he mixes them , well just before his death there is Big Crunch where the time reversal happens and he actually never dies .. There is then entire cycle of birth and since his memory is intact as angles forget to erase his memory he has memories from the future of all the different possible lives
