We lived in blissful ignorance, believing this was all down to talent and hard work. Would like to go back there rather than cynically doubting every single notable performance. Most of The natural category riders wouldn't finish the course inside the elimination time, that's a horrible idea. If u want a natty tour you need to make the race easier and shorter.
You should look at the facts, since UCI made helmets mandatory that era has more deaths and more injuries. Riders take greater risks thinking they are protected and yet sadly the helmet does not prevent death or brain injury. This is replicated in all countries with helmet wearing laws.
We all talk like now cyclists are completely clean... but are they? Ullrich, my all time favorite cyclist.
My favourite Tour by far, so many great riders featured in it, and of course Ulle!
Thomas W That was the era to savour!
all hail the EPO!
When the tour was fun to watch.
I definitely agree although I'm opposed to all drug cheating.

Ulrich would have won 9 in a row if he stayed in shape
Or if there was NO Lance Armstrong.
Well he definitely would have picked up another couple of Tours

Jan, did a great job winning on EPO! Good guy, nice personality!
Shut up, Ullrich is the greatest cyclist ever.

Phil has been announcing 44 Tour de France FYI
No wonder they doped, nearly 8 hours for a stage up mountains at an average of 32.klm an hour......come on!!
If the uci wants a clean tour they need to make the race a lot easier.
this is oddly satisfying
