SV. Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Anne arriving for Parents' Day at Prince Charles's school in Chelsea, London. SV. Queen walks forward and is met by Prince Charles. Prince Charles starts to introduce his fellow school mates to his mother. The Queen starts to shake hands with the boys, Prince Charles goes down the line introducing them. STV. Duke of Edinburgh shaking hands with schoolboys, he finds himself in front of Prince Charles and points to him as if to say "I've seen you somewhere before".
GV. Playing fields at a school in Chelsea. VS. Prince Charles playing a type of handball rugger with his schoolmates. SV. Queen, Princess Anne and Duke watching.
GV. Boys playing cricket. Small boy running and bowling to team mate, he misses and wicket keeper picks up ball and throws it back. Pan as ball is fielded. CU. Prince Charles crouching behind wicket. He runs to pick the ball up and throws it back. He returns to the wicket. TV. Crowd watching through railings. SV. Prince Charles takes over the bat and stands in front of wicket. SV. Bowler is given ball by mistress. He walks to his position to bowl Prince Charles underhand. SV. Prince Charles standing in front of wicket. He goes to hit ball but misses. SV. Bowler at the other end balls underhand. Pan with ball, Prince Charles hits it. The ball is fielded by team mate. SV. Boy about to make another bowl to Prince Charles - it goes underhand. SV. Queen, Princess Anne and Duke watching. SCU. Prince Charles running after he has hit the ball. Scoring run, he returns to his wicket and prepares to receive another ball. He misses the next ball. SV. Royal party applauding.
GV. Field with boys running relay race. CU. Pan with Prince Charles as he runs with his team mates. He returns to his team mate and the boy continues to run. One of the boys pats him on back. SV. Royal party applauding. SV. Prince Charles with his friends cheering his team home. TV. Crowd watching through railings.
SV. Prince Charles as a 'Gun Leader' running with gun carriage team. SV. Royal party watching. SV. Master helping Prince Charles up on the high bar. Prince is on his own - he swings himself across the 'River' and drops to the ground. SV. Queen with Princess Anne waiting to depart. The Queen looks around. TV. People looking through railings. SV. Prince Philip credited the school for developing him! And he was a remarkable man.
King Charles, hated the school, but in my opinion he is one of the most exceptional men I have ever seen. His views on medicine, health, architecture, organic farming and environment were decades ahead of his time, and every one of his views was proved to be correct, despite being ridiculed at the time.
He would make a better prime minister or president than anyone in history.
Actually that was his secondary school you mean - Gordonstoun in the Scottish highlands. In 1957 he was only 9 and not yet at school there. I think he was at Cheam school before that.

What a wonderful time to live in when history began being video recorded
I was reading biographies of the royal family and was saddened that Charles could not meet the expectations of Prince Philip, who wanted an athletic son. Instead, I had a sensitive boy but talented in other areas. But the education of the time saw this as male weakness.
That's true, King Charles is more of an artistic person , he loves art, nature and gardening which his father Prince Philip did not like. That is also the reason on why during that time he favored Princess Anne more because she was more athletic and share the same hobbies as him. Poor on young Charles, his father's opinion affected a lot during his childhood.
Charles also paints watercolors like PP did, and he plays the cello. The Queen didn’t put her foot down about Gordonstoun not being right for Charles, and it caused him lifelong psychological damage.
Yes such a shame. He is a fabulous painter and cares so much about the environment. I wish people would give him credit for more than they do.

This was at his pre - prep school , Hill House in London . Sadly , it seems at that stage , no one had taught him how to hold a cricket bat properly and to follow the line of delivery of the ball , from the bowler . Thereafter , he attended the excellent prep school Cheam until,he went to Gordonstoun - such an unsuitable school for his character and abilities .

Those English Accents are very unique. You don't hear them much in America, unless you come in contact with tourists. Or, those who have moved to America from Britain.
Nobody speaks like that anymore, not even in the UK. The accent has evolved tremendously

@@marysalvi242 A friend of mine met Anthony Hopkins in the USA some time ago. He said he was struck by his accent. He now lives in the USA. And is now an American citizen. I have favorite women English accents today. All movie stars though.
