Uhhh...where's the hood in this video? All I see are well kept homes and people going about their day. Where's the zombie addicts, abandoned homes, trash-lined streets? Hell, I don't even see any thugs in this video!

I think he means "hood" as in "neighborhood." West Chester is a pretty nice area not to be confused with Chester.

Grew up in West Chester. Even in the 90s I knew it had no real 'hood'. The south east quarter of town was more industrial and the housing was much more working class, but definitely not bad. Nice and quiet. Would consider moving back there if real estate prices would allow.

People were interested to see the section 8 housing, it was requested by viewers. idk why this upset so many people. It used to be a bigger area but they knocked it down and put those new houses.

@@goodjawn610 I appreciate your video. For me, the word hood should have been left out of it. There are still many low income sites around, but they in my opinion never qualify as the hood. You refered to a section that used to be larger, but they tore them down. That never happened. The site that you refer to used to be the old Hoffman lumber company and Grocery Store Products. The sites did not have housing on them til recent years. Again, I did enjoy your video and thank you.

@@derrickanderson6190 understood... I just remember back in the day people referring to it as the hood of west chester, and while it wasn't north Philly it was still the hood of west chester. I've notice in the past 10 years or so it's become all college kids for the most part so maybe it's changed since I was younger. Again it was never a north Philly but stuff did go on around there. Still does too, it's just not out in the open.

Bro please just stop. First define “hood” because “hood” does not equal “section 8”. Any home owner can pass inspection to rent their property as “section 8” certified. So Please find something better to do. There is nothing hood in the 19382...just high class junkies and yes I live up here

But California is more well kept compared to most areas on the east coast . Plus the east is a lot older so I guess it's by default tbh . Shout out to LA . LOL... it's "the hood" because the homes shown are less than the average of $650,000. I rent a 1 bedroom, 640 square foot apt. just outside of downtown. Nothing fancy. $1,450 a month, just the rent, mind you. Oh, I make over $80K/yr as an RN...saving money to move to VA, buy a home and live like a normal person. The food bills, utility, gas are also outrageous. It's like Southern Cali without the scenery LMAO
