    If you just stop paying for other countries wars, or "development" money would be available to help. I paid off my 6 figure debt but now my child has student loan debt and as a parent co-signer I pay these payments. I want relief without more taxes....so QUIT giving our tax money to others countries and help at home.

      unfortunately one has nothing to do with the other. even if foreign aid was cut that would not transfer into student relief. why? the house and senate and courts have ruled on constitutionality and legality of student of relief of any kind. our elected law givers protect banks and institutions greed brcause they ruled out relief in all forms for all. they have legal representation and students largely do not. change this. vote differently next time.

      Wow I can't believe how ignorant and dumb people can be!
      Iran?!? Which money did the USA ever give to Iran?! Zero! Absolutely nothing. Actually your government gives billions whenever they need to to Israel, Ukraine and even Egypt! But to Iran, nothing. The money that was sent to Iran was Iran's own funds ...that had been FROZEN FOR DECADES by the US.
      Don't you think you should maybe do some research from credible sites and learn a thing or two before posting such FALSE INFORMATION????
      The ignorance is shameful

    Student loans need to be cancelled, because students did not learn anything.

      theres a turn of a phrase. but you so they did learn. when you borrow consider intrest and capitilized intrest. thatll take dept and keep you there .

    Instead of just giving away the taxpayers money , why not require them to serve 6 or 8 years in the military / armed forces to forgive their loan ?

      @@techfeanology6437 What does this have to do with govt. giving away student loans ? ?

    • @steveshow-tos5394
      @steveshow-tos5394 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sparkywirenut there is a public interest loan forgiveness program that enables folks who take jobs in the military (and other government jobs, e.g. teachers, gov’t employees, etc.) to have their loans discharged after 10 years of service & making payments. In some instances, with the high interest rates charged on student loans, the government can get nearly the original loan amount back in interest payments before the loan is discharged. So it essentially becomes an interest free loan for those who take this route (borrow $100K & pay $100k in interest over 10 years, then have $100k discharged = essentially an interest free loan).

    Biden just needs to go to bed and stop handing out taxpayer $ like it’s his. Students who decided to spend $300k on a basket weaving degree should be accountable for their own decisions. Or make the university spend their endowments to reduce tuition fees.
