Electronoobs when arduino connected to usb, there are always less than 5v at reference pin. connect multimeter and measure V, you`ll see around 4.7 volts

If you lower your vref voltage, you'll get your final 8th bit into resolution. Wish I had seen your video before, I just designed a 14 comparator flash add much like this (for note resolution in a synthesizer project) and it took forever...

Just one problem: the code is very messy. You can write “else if” instead of nesting an if inside an else, etc. Plus, you can also use a switch/case construct for more organization. Or even a for loop.

First of all I am thankful to you for giving the basic concept in your video. Basic is never small it is the thing. The so called hifi are just artificial hype and of no use to mankind. By the by how have you connected the LED bulbs, i mean the polarity. Secondly how are you showing in oscilloscope 101 or 001 i. e the digital data. The oscilloscope can either record a zero flat line for zero i. e off condition or elevated flat line for on condition. I did not understand that part. Please clarify

Add a unary to binary converter and you get n^2 outputs on the same number of pins, so you occupy less inputs.
