Never heard of him until I received a news alert that he passed away, so I looked him up, and WOW!
Fantastic real country sound.
I'm sorry I never got to listen to him sooner, but I had soured on what country music had become and I stopped listening.
Luke was just the kind of artist that country music has been sorely missing, but now he's gone and way too soon.
RIP Buddy, we hope you are at peace now.
Yes today's country is like Tim Wilson ( Bob and Tom) IAM a little country a little rap IAM crap 🤣🤣not country that's for sure
Jeffery, I had not ever heard of him either, found out the same way you did, and Yes I will be most certainly be listening to his music... Fabulous, what a voice
Same!
I agree with u completely. He was really talented
Agree, he was the real deal.
The metaphor in this song means so much more now that you’re gone. Sail on
Rest easy, Luke! You and your music will never be forgotten
Luke was a quintessential country singer who achieved such greatness in the short time he graced us with.
He’s gone before we were ever able to have our first dance with him. Luke will always be known as one of the greatest country singers ever‼️ we will all miss him and all of the incredible music that he would’ve made.
This is a seriously tragic loss. He just needed all the love that wasn’t there when he needed it most. Everyone think about that before it’s too late for any other great people & beautiful artists like Luke 🔔. 🎶 🎸🪕⭐️
I hate how I never heard of Luke Bell until after he died. So good.
Artists like this are a serious threat to the industry. Rest In Peace, cowboy ❤
Rest easy there young man, you were a true outlaw when it came to music. Been listening to your tunes since u started. hurts knowing you're gone now, thank you for your music brother.
My favorite song of Luke’s. Rest easy, buddy.
I got into country music in a big way a couple years ago in an attempt to rediscover the true heart of the genre, because I thought Nashville radio country was just fake bullshit. Luke was head and shoulders above most, and I’ve been consistently listening to his music for a good while now. Absolutely gutted to hear of his passing. He eased the suffering of a great many folks during his limited time on earth, and I appreciate him for that.
Had to come listen to this again after hearing of his passing. I'm sorry your fight is over Luke.
Heaven gained another angel 🙏💕 Rest Easy Luke Bell. The Bravest Bullfighter
Rest in peace. I hadn't heard of him either until I heard the recent news. Wow! So talented. 🥲♥️
R.I.P. Luke. Destiny classic, this one.🎸
The world will catch up to you someday Luke. Great tune.
Great way to put it. Way ahead.
This song got me through some moments, hell, I’m listening to this again to remind myself to keep fighting only to find out you passed months ago.
I’m going to miss you.
See you in heaven Luke.
Beautiful unique sound badass song! How many times can my heart break? I'll never forget you good buddy.
What great talent, his memory will forever live on in the music. 💛
Wish he was here still.
Losing him is quite painful. He will be missed.
So sound the trumpets folks !
Rest In Peace Luke, you were great🙏
I’m so sorry to hear of his death. I love that song and The Bullfighter. My heart goes out to his family.
Rest in peace brother we're gonna miss ya
Heart breaking
Beautiful! We love you Luke! Bless you and Rest Easy our friend! 🙏😪🙏
Rest in Peace. Terrific talent.
Thank you!
Good song, may he rest peacefully.
Just found you today- deeply sadens me to realize that you are the county singer that died from fentynol in Tucson. I live on the outskirts of tucson and remember this on the news. Fentynol is evil. The world is a smaller world without this amazing musician - ❤️
This is a song Marty Robbins would sing! Great tune
Literally thought the same thing first time I heard this song! Sound exactly like something Marty would sing!
Country to the bone go on home son Rip feller
RIP in the perpetual light of God!
Reminds me so much of that Bakersfield, Buck Owens sound with a little Gram Parsons/Flying Burritos Brothers thrown in for good measure. Excellent song.
He was wonderful
“I’m looking for the world to disagreeee”
Man he was so good.
I know it’s been awhile since Luke passed. But I’m here sitting..crying 😢like my best friend just died ❤ you Luke
RIP Luke Bell:-( so sad, didn’t know of him before today. I also struggle with bipolar disorder and am still crying. So sad for his family and praying for them. So sad
May the light live forever
So many in comments here on TH-cam and elsewhere have expressed wonder at where Luke had been.. now we know -
Wow, why didn't I know of him? What a loss 😔
Thank you for posting this, excellent!
hope you're kickin ass up there man
Where the world did this guy go? Album in 2016 and then nothing! Come on now, love his sound and I want more!
I've been waiting for his next album for years😕
Six feet under r.i.p.
First time I have ever heard him. Wow is all I can say.
RIP Luke was a great talent and gone too soon.
He's back with jealous guy on spotify!
Damn, Luke Bell is good.
RIP sweet soul
Rest In Peace Sir. 🙏 😥💔🎵
Rest easy in that big ol juke box in the sky brother, never gonna stop spinning your tunes.
May you rest in eternal peace Like Bell.💜😭
Mourning this man tonight. Be at peace.
R.I.P. Luke
Gone too soon. He was my biggest modern musical influence. It wasn't his time, man...why?
Luke it was really nice meeting you. I love your sound!!! Next time you're in Omaha let me know. Take care!!
Rest in peace Buddy, sooo sad😪❤️
R.I.H. Luke
Flat out awesome.
RIP Luke Bell
the boys good 🔥🔥
RIP Luke. Gone to soon.
I only became aware of him after his death so it shows how little the Country Music "scene" cares about less known singers, yet he offered much more authentic Country tunes than others who are just doing Pop branded as Country.
Moreover, I've come to love this song. It sounds like real Country, and what sucks, it's that he left us. He had so much potential.
Suicide was not the answer, Luke Bell. We humans only live once.
RIP.
Very good.
Sweet!
why the fuck is this not in spotify gosh darn it
a writer writes ...and no one reads, no one listens ...until the record stops one last time / seems a shame ...when we all got a story to tell
Wow so profound!!
@@lpsophie4743 th-cam.com/video/Ay9vAZQgmN4/w-d-xo.html a whole song i wrote based on that (there are a lot of unknown writers in the world ...all their own stories
great job guys
Why did Luke bell disappear
great question
hello , it disappeared because people don t like good country , i think
He just uploaded a song
its called Jealous Guy
He’s been popping up at local bars in the southwest lately along with Matt Kinman. They had a show just recently in Benson, Arizona at the Arena Bar. I didn’t get to go this time but it’s good to know he’s out there playing music again
I drive past the bushes he died in every day.....tragic.
...
Damn.....
man I wanted to be at the Nick Sunday but couldn't get there . Sorry
Rip
What is the line in toward the end of the song that comes right after "they find the grace of life to lean on"?
I believe its "but duel the bull says I, just as long as I live."
Think of how much talent fentanyl has robbed us of. Tragic
Somber bunch.
RIH LUKE!✝️🔥🩸🙏
Is it bravest or greatest?
Bravest
Wher the fuck this dude been
Great tune. Sounds like it could be an old Avett Brothers song almost.
Seriously? Avett Brothers? That is a horrible thing to say. These guys actually have some old time country soul. Don't go ruining my fantasy please.
I agree with Ronnie Cash, it does have almost the same exact melody as an Avett Bro song. When the song started I thought it was the Avett Brothers song.
It's too in tune. ;)
This comment makes me wanna vomit.
@@skippymac1 you clearly weren’t paying attention at the beginning of the Avetts
same style as pat reedy
Lost a good one :(
