Never heard of him until I received a news alert that he passed away, so I looked him up, and WOW! Fantastic real country sound. I'm sorry I never got to listen to him sooner, but I had soured on what country music had become and I stopped listening. Luke was just the kind of artist that country music has been sorely missing, but now he's gone and way too soon. RIP Buddy, we hope you are at peace now.
Jeffery, I had not ever heard of him either, found out the same way you did, and Yes I will be most certainly be listening to his music... Fabulous, what a voice
Rest easy there young man, you were a true outlaw when it came to music. Been listening to your tunes since u started. hurts knowing you're gone now, thank you for your music brother.
This song got me through some moments, hell, I’m listening to this again to remind myself to keep fighting only to find out you passed months ago. I’m going to miss you. See you in heaven Luke.
I got into country music in a big way a couple years ago in an attempt to rediscover the true heart of the genre, because I thought Nashville radio country was just fake bullshit. Luke was head and shoulders above most, and I’ve been consistently listening to his music for a good while now. Absolutely gutted to hear of his passing. He eased the suffering of a great many folks during his limited time on earth, and I appreciate him for that.
I only became aware of him after his death so it shows how little the Country Music "scene" cares about less known singers, yet he offered much more authentic Country tunes than others who are just doing Pop branded as Country. Moreover, I've come to love this song. It sounds like real Country, and what sucks, it's that he left us. He had so much potential. Suicide was not the answer, Luke Bell. We humans only live once. RIP.
Luke was a quintessential country singer who achieved such greatness in the short time he graced us with. He’s gone before we were ever able to have our first dance with him. Luke will always be known as one of the greatest country singers ever‼️ we will all miss him and all of the incredible music that he would’ve made. This is a seriously tragic loss. He just needed all the love that wasn’t there when he needed it most. Everyone think about that before it’s too late for any other great people & beautiful artists like Luke 🔔. 🎶 🎸🪕⭐️
Reminds me so much of that Bakersfield, Buck Owens sound with a little Gram Parsons/Flying Burritos Brothers thrown in for good measure. Excellent song.
Playing this on the front porch today for you Luke felt your spirit in the breeze as I ran through the chords this morning ❤ you live on we sing your songs
Just found you today- deeply sadens me to realize that you are the county singer that died from fentynol in Tucson. I live on the outskirts of tucson and remember this on the news. Fentynol is evil. The world is a smaller world without this amazing musician - ❤️
RIP Luke Bell:-( so sad, didn’t know of him before today. I also struggle with bipolar disorder and am still crying. So sad for his family and praying for them. So sad
I miss Luke. Don’t be afraid to seek help, boys. There is no shame in asking for guidance in your darkest moments. Never make permanent decisions based on temporary feelings. You are loved.

He’s been popping up at local bars in the southwest lately along with Matt Kinman. They had a show just recently in Benson, Arizona at the Arena Bar. I didn’t get to go this time but it’s good to know he’s out there playing music again
I agree with Ronnie Cash, it does have almost the same exact melody as an Avett Bro song. When the song started I thought it was the Avett Brothers song.

Yes today's country is like Tim Wilson ( Bob and Tom) IAM a little country a little rap IAM crap 🤣🤣not country that's for sure

Same!
I agree with u completely. He was really talented
Agree, he was the real deal.
The metaphor in this song means so much more now that you’re gone. Sail on
I hate how I never heard of Luke Bell until after he died. So good.
Rest easy, Luke! You and your music will never be forgotten
“I’m looking for the world to disagreeee”
Man he was so good.
Artists like this are a serious threat to the industry. Rest In Peace, cowboy ❤

My favorite song of Luke’s. Rest easy, buddy.

This is a song Marty Robbins would sing! Great tune
Literally thought the same thing first time I heard this song! Sound exactly like something Marty would sing!

Thanks Luke. Save me a seat .
Good song, may he rest peacefully.
Wow I thought it was a cover till I heard that voice. Wow.

RIP Luke was a great talent and gone too soon.
Rest In Peace Sir. 🙏 😥💔🎵
Flat out awesome.
Mourning this man tonight. Be at peace.
Beautiful.
Gone too soon. He was my biggest modern musical influence. It wasn't his time, man...why?
He was great
a writer writes ...and no one reads, no one listens ...until the record stops one last time / seems a shame ...when we all got a story to tell

Why did Luke bell disappear
great question
hello , it disappeared because people don t like good country , i think
He just uploaded a song
its called Jealous Guy
He’s been popping up at local bars in the southwest lately along with Matt Kinman. They had a show just recently in Benson, Arizona at the Arena Bar. I didn’t get to go this time but it’s good to know he’s out there playing music again
why the fuck is this not in spotify gosh darn it
RIP Luke Bell
man I wanted to be at the Nick Sunday but couldn't get there . Sorry
What is the line in toward the end of the song that comes right after "they find the grace of life to lean on"?
I believe its "but duel the bull says I, just as long as I live."
Think of how much talent fentanyl has robbed us of. Tragic
Damn.....
Great tune. Sounds like it could be an old Avett Brothers song almost.
Seriously? Avett Brothers? That is a horrible thing to say. These guys actually have some old time country soul. Don't go ruining my fantasy please.
I agree with Ronnie Cash, it does have almost the same exact melody as an Avett Bro song. When the song started I thought it was the Avett Brothers song.
It's too in tune. ;)
This comment makes me wanna vomit.
@@skippymac1 you clearly weren’t paying attention at the beginning of the Avetts
What a voice damn the drugs that killed em
I drive past the bushes he died in every day.....tragic.
