I was there ! The bar gave out clear rain ponchos ! Such a great time ! We would have been soaked but we got lucky only 1/2 soaked . I adore and respect slash so much . So sorry for his loss . ❤
At this level of backround and success and fame he is the last pure rock great guitarist that people like to listen to and watch even without listening to rock. Be knows how to make people enjoy the guitar and make u grab ur guitar or learn how to play guitar.
Slash is a normal guitarist, don't inflate him either, he is overrated. Here you can see that he is not creative in all the songs he repeats the same notes, or improvisation.

Mmmmm, I don't know....even if the star doesn't have a singing voice, the singer should be front and center. And engineering the guitar to be louder than the lead singer sounds pretty stupid.

Great upload. As a guitar player for over 30 years (Im not that great, but good), and listening to thousands of bands and guitarists, I can say Slash is the most overrated player ever. He's a poser with that hat glasses and crap. He has no sense of melody, he just wails silly soloes without thought. He stinks. GNR is also vastly over rated. Who I think are great players: Via, Blackmore, malmsteen, ec. Slash is all pose and no sole. Waste of time
