that's what I was focusing on, I don't know many elite powerlifters that can deadlift this much without straps using pronated grip. Guy is the final boss
I had to give a whole @ss speech to my co-worker collegue here, saying that's where the hundreds of years protecting and refining viking genes pay off. These guys are just random gym dudes, some of them even average size, and those viking genes still pull off 250-320 kg in deadlift. I'm gobsmacked, as a latin folk. (we rarely ever in life see this kind of strength here)
I'm in scandinavia. Major city local gym. Only 1 guy in entire gym deadlifts 300kg and he looks massive. 120-140kg. Def not something you see everyday if ever. Those guys in that vid are not random bystandards. They specifically showed up for this event and also the competition perhaps. its the top 1% of the top 1%
Protected 'viking genes' don't necessitate strength. I agree with the other commenter.. What we are witnessing is a large sample of people in the top percentile and almost none representing the lower
Pause the video on the last guy at the top of the rep and look at the haters pretending like theyre not inmpressed 😂. The last one was incredible!!! Great work
Just cause you don't clap doesn't mean you're not impressed or a hater. You're just looking for shit. The only guy you notice is the guy in black on the right and he does an eyebrow shrug. I personally do that when I'm thinking "damn" or "wtf"
@Nehph you're saying just because people don't clap doesn't mean they're not impressed is funny as there are plenty of "haters" in the comments saying fake weights, no straps, no sum so you dont think there are people in the crowd who are jealous right now. You can see a handful of them just by their body language and facial expressions.. especially the last guy, as I stated in my comment. The only reason the guy in black even did that was because his buddy looked at him in amazement, so he didn't want to look like a tool. Other guy chewing gum in black outfit... he acted all macho until his buddy looked at him to see his response.. then gave him a fake clap... dude in blue with his arms crossed. In psychology, anyone crossing their arms is trying to have a dominating appearance or are uncomfortable. And many others.. only clapping not because they are "impressed" but because they want to be accepted into the crowd by clapping. That's what blows my mind. You can see jealousy and insecurity in a lot of these dudes. As I said I'm blown away.
There are some serious "ANIMALS" right there lifting some crazy weights with sleeper builds lol. That mofo in the black with the powerlifting shoes .. no chalk no straps .. awesome
Write as title ‘Sumo Deadlift Challenge.’ The Sumo Deadlift is easier than the standard deadlift. The Sumo Deadlift focuses on the power of the legs and has a shorter range of motion, making it easier to lift the weight…
@chrismawata8755 Then this video does not mean anything except that guys who train with weights are strong. Its a competition between strongman, its pointless.
@@truthseeker6116 True. Usually such challenges are just for fun and one can debate if having fun is pointless. I am OK with it. Untrained people injuring their backs would be a more serious matter.
3.28, that guy is gonna wreck his back if he keeps lifting like that. Maybe its ok cause he is young, but its going to catch up. Personally i think the guys watching need to make sure the guys are using proper form.
Just respect that people are in the gym training. You're just mad because it's more than your conventional and you can't stand it. Sumo is harder than it looks and you can't just pull more than conventional on a whim because it's less range of motion.
With all do respect, what's the point of this event? Most if not all guys are here don't look like they have any muscle definition but just pushing heavy weights...I think there is a difference in weight lifter and the power lifting and bodybuilders...little confused here. Is this the new era of "gym bros" or just pushing heavy to push heavy and mixed in with ego lifting...again I'm not hating just extremely curious 🤔
@@Nice_Cali absolutely, but in this level of weight things can go very wrong... Although I think maybe the weight is not correct, the bar doesn't bend as it should do lifting 320 kgs, that's just my observation, probably I'm wrong
320 KG very easy by ordinary people !!!!???? heavy wight low than 90 KG sorry ,this record is king Arnod 320 KG the young people lifted Arnold record 😂😂😂😂😂
Last guy got some real impressive strength!
Gorilla Grip🦍
He is slim like Anatoly
For once (minus one or two), this is a bunch of dudes that actually know what they are doing and kept solid form. 💪💪
No straps, no reverse grip, damn impressive. Dude has some crazy grip strength.
that's what I was focusing on, I don't know many elite powerlifters that can deadlift this much without straps using pronated grip. Guy is the final boss
easy dead weight ?
he is using hook grip
hook grip :)
i never use straps, or belts, just chalk
The last guy pulled 320 like a Joke... He had another 20+30 in him.
who is him? we need his name
Pulls?
@@dutchdna Ok Shakespeare...
he is only limited by the space of the bar
Those are some random bystanders pulling +300kg
Bro also no warm up???

400+ deadlift if really good, now a 600lbs deadlift.....I train but have never done deadlifts nor squats, they aren't my type of stuff.
The last guy is strong. Stronger than hissy and anatoly. His max must be around 360-380kg since he only used double overgrip on the 320kg
called hook grip, me personally i feel stronger with hook grip than mixed
Nah, some are stronger with hook grip. There is a mat under the weights, bar is elevated 25-30mm. It's a bit easier than normal deadlifts.
@@windsolarupnorth7084 plus bumper plates on a deadlift bar, it's WAY easier with that setup than calibrated competition plates
think form is a big part of it too, the other muscular dude wasn't using enough legs on the starting point of the lift.
Hooked grip. Just using hook grip is enough to tell that he trains seriously, because it is fricking painful to get used to.
My lower back hurts just watching the last 3 minutes

The last bloke didn’t even use straps. Awesome strength.
Hook grip, don't need a whole lot of grip strength to do it, its just painful.
He's still a beast pulling 320 that easy!
Last guy strength was just another next level 🎉
last guy is definitely a powerlifter, i can tell by his shirt 😂
320kg with hook grip ? What are his fingers made of ? A lot of guys with insane strong lifts here, but last guy's lift is crazy.
that last guy is fucking insane

4:01 i already knew he is sumo lifter hahahahahaa
Clean content with no gimmicks. Love it!
I leaned forward and said “WHAT THE FUCK” when bro pulled 6 plates beltless
One of the most impressive random deadlift showcases. Clearly this is not your normal conference but still.
Os caras todos comportados, levantando a mão para participar. Aqui no Brasil é um empurra empurra nesses eventos.
respect to the guys who didn't use straps
This guy win 100 coca cola ahahahha
Finally someone stronger than Hissy

conventional. respect.
Bro where tf do you find these strong ass individuals?! 💪🔥🔥
Viking land
juiced
They all speak Swedish.
Sweden never disappoints 😂
Can we have random guys who don't deadlift? Every single one of those guys train.
That is for the better. Random guys could easily injure themselves.

Klotov should show up and pretend he's struggling with the lift off and then explodes in a squat clean! Lol 😅 that will impress everybody!
Nice deadlift session 😎
А потом приходит Анатолий и поднимает штангу одной рукой
😂😂😂😂😂
Anatoly es algo serio 😊
Anatoly: Can I clean here?
Awesome 👏💪👍
They should have used 25KG plates then they wouldn't have run out of bar at the end!
Через штангу не перешагивайте - за такое раньше в тренажерках наказывали
I expected Anatoly to show with his bucket and mop saying "why you using fake weights?" Than doing 5 lifts @ 300kg. 😂😂😂
I think his max is 300 with sumo
Anatoly can't clean there
3:28 man has a weak back but strong legs
Now do one with regular guys who don't train deadlift
The 3rd guy wasn't even holding the bar evenly.
Dude did 405 like a warmup
Jasmy will make us rich. Jasmy to $1. 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
Where is anatoly 😅😂❤
As if he doesn't know all these ppl he's picking out there crowd 😂
Last guy wow!
I am in India I see this your videos I like it
over 700 lbs .. I thought only Anatoly could do that.
What was the max weight? You guys should mention every time you increased..
“Excuse me Can I clean here “

Anatoly says: hold my beer.
Proof its all about specialization
320kg ?
Yes
340
Great
I’m curious how many discs were herniated that day😂
Try invite Anatoly the cleaner next time..
Para quem é leigo acho que deviam informar o peso de cada etapa.
Are these weights in kg or lbs ?
kg. that's 14*20kg + 2*10kg + 20kg (the bar) = 320kg = 705lbs
in my day, I could do 400 pounds US, no belt or grips. Not going to try it now.
So kids beat the record of Anatoly 😅
Whippy bar and raised mats makes a big difference. Go use a bench bar, off the floor, no straps. Everyone's total drops.
Last dude is a beast.
bro all no warmup crazy
Notice how much less overall mass the sumo pullers have
Сейчас придет уборщик и отнесет штангу в подсобку одной рукой, что бы не мешали убираться.
what is this place? why are randoms so strong lol
Anatoly could lift that with one arm! 😂
Anatoly: Why do you use the fake weights guys
so what is the total weight in pounds on the last lift. I figured 630lbs. Is that right?
nope. that's 14*20kg + 2*10kg + 20kg (the bar) = 320kg = 705lbs
Are the weights really in kgs!?
yes its kg
only time probably using real weights in his video.
@@gengarpokemon7731 Yes. Hissy did not try to lift anything himself, so perhaps it was real weights this time.

320 kg with the bar

Asking for injuries honestly

Just because you use your back doesn’t mean you’ll injure it
