hi i got this message what do i do men The brand you have provided requires a barcode (GTIN/UPC/EAN/ISBN) to list on Amazon. If you do not have a barcode for the product, you will find it on the packaging and/or back cover of your item.

Hi Josh, I have brand name approval and gtin exemption. but when the listing i try to create keep going to drafts. it also keeps highliten teh Porudct ID.i dont have to fill that. also give me this messagein teh draft. "There is no record of the SKU corresponding to this update on your account. This commonly occurs when there are other issues on your SKU." I created a listing with teh same title and it gave errors and delete it and then i used gs1 and caused issu and i deleted this. I deleted 2 SSKUs( that had teh same product title. The last listing I am trying to create has teh same title as I cannot change the title. what is this mean and how to resolve this please? appreciate your help please. i was able to create the product listing using this method. since i will be using amazon FBA to fulfill orders i will need to place a barcode on the product eventually correct? if so, wont i run into trouble inputing the barcode into the product ID?

Hey we are based in uk, And trying to sell some products from us (as well fro other countries). We have run into an issue with listing branded products. Most of the times we can’t list product that are listed in USA using same ASIN number. But we can’t create a new listing too as we get brand copywrite issue and listing get removed. But 2ce we did manage to create listing anyway using editing asin. And a bit confused now why sometimes we manage to create listings and how to create listing for products that are not listed on Amazon yet. Would be great if you could shed a light on it. hi. I ordered phone cases from china that have no EAN or any barcode but its packaged in ziplock and have writing on the front which I assume is there brand and writing on the back. I listed this product on my Amazon Seller account as generic and I am fulling my orders. Is this the right thing to do??
If you're sending your products to a fulfillment center, then you still need to apply the FNSKU labels on your product. Amazon will generate these for you.
If you're going to be selling long term, I recommend branding your products and purchasing a UPC. This tutorial is really only for people trying to avoid purchasing UPCs and don't mind selling a generic product short term.

What do I do for the new mfr part number?
You can make it up if you're private labeling. Otherwise, use the number that's on the packaging or manual if it's an existing product.

Did you try giving it 10-15min? Sometimes it takes a little bit of time to update

So if you do this, do you still have to put a fnsku on the product or are you exempt from putting that on as well?
If you're sending your products to a fulfillment center, then you still need to apply the FNSKU labels on your product. Amazon will generate these for you.
