The only 13 series that can actually serve in regiment are the foxtrots, fisters. This mos actually intrigues me a little more because I bet this could open some doors for you when you get out.
To be more specific, there are 2 types in the 13J world. A cannon unit FDC has more grunt work and more professionalism than a rocket unit FDC. After you finish AIT and go to your first duty station, you will end up either being a delta or a papa dude. Since the cannon unit is always going to the field often, cannon unit FDCs usually follows the gun line to the field. I'm in a cannon unit fdc and mostly each fdc has 2~3 privates, 1~2 spcs, 1 chief and 1 FDO. The FDO(Fire Direction Officer) has the responsibility of safety and the authority to chose what round of ammunition the gunline or a gun will fire within the limits of the commander's guidance. The chief is the one who yells at everybody and gives the "SEND IT" order to the guns. The chief will curse at you or possibly hit you on your ACH with the hand mic depending on your performance lol It's an awesome job to have but if you happen to struggle in highly pressure working environment, it might not be the job for you.

Good video and keep it up. Only thing is I am a 13B in Army and you need to learn more about Field Artillery in general. A lot of stuff you mentioned wasn't that accurate in regards to other MOS inside Artillery. We don't have "rockets" , they are "Artillery Rounds". A lot of 13B/ 13F are air assault and airborne and do go into front line with infantry. Just look into it more as you are apart of Artillery and good to have more knowledge besides your MOS 13J.
I was fresh out of AIT when I made this, yes some of info is incorrect and I have made updates videos on the topic. I’m about to hit specialist soon and have a looooot more experience in the artillery world, I do appreciate you not only trying to educate me but educate others that will watch this video. I only make these videos to try and help people understand the military more, I realized it ain’t as easy when I joined but hopefully I’ve helped people signed the right contracts and avoided lives they can’t stand.

At this point in my life I didn’t know very much about the military and was going based off the leadership I witnessed while in AIT. TRADOC is different from the “ Normal army “ which I know now but back then I thought it was the same.

Part 2 is more accurate on what you do in the field as a 13J. Remember that this is a combat MOS, so if you aren’t in combat you won’t be doing your job, just training here and there.
V Baby Its possible for people to drive up on us and shoot us with AK47, is it likely to happen? Not really. If they have artillery as well they could end up blowing us up if we can’t get to them first.
