There are 3 raw materials:
1: Calcareous material:
Calcareous materials are compounds of calcium and magnesium such as lime (CaO) that are obtained from lime stone, marble, chalks, masine shells etc.
2: Argillaceous material:
Argillaceous materials are mainly silica (SiO2) , alumina (Al2O3) and oxides of iron (Fe2O3) such as aliminates, silicates that are obtained from clay, shale, slate, blast furnace slab....
3: Gypsum:
Gypsum (CaSO4. 2H2O) is usually used to increase setting time.
