I like the new 2016 Honda Civic's interior but I HATE that CVT, and I HATE the lack of a volume control knob in that car, so I would get the Acura ILX as a 'HONDA CIVIC' the way Honda SHOULD have made it. (although a rather expensive Honda Civic.)

Do someone know how does 2016 Acura ILX drive on the pumper road? i used to rove 2015 model in 02 years, the car was looking good but so shaking and vibration. My car was sold at 18,000 miles because of disappointment
Acuras are sporty luxury cars. They have relatively stiff suspension. This means that you can feel the bumps in the road. Lexus has softer sprung suspensions and are more comfortable on bumpy roads.

if Honda/Acura really wanted to do something smart they should have kept the 2.0L and slapped a turbo on it, generating well over 200hp rather that just going up to a 2.4L naturally aspirated. look what they did to the 2016 Civic 1.5 with a turbo generating 175hp. An Audi A3 2.0T is 220hp and get 24mpg..........this ilx meager setup get 25mpg with a 2.0 and 201hp. the car aint much to look at so some peppy power would be good.
Buy a Mazda 3 Grand Touring and you'll get all of the ILX's best features and save 7 grand. It'll be just as quick and get 3mpg better. Acura still has some work to do

Yes. Acura should have abandoned its 2.0L since the day one! As a luxury brand, the least thing it should consider is fuel economy.
