I found that I had to unplug, then plug it in. Open the autolift part where you insert a pod. Then close it. Then immediately press the coffee button 3 times. Only way I was able to get into the Orange mode and it went through that rinse/cleaning cycle.
If you are struggling with the first use set up? I found I needed to leave it on with the green light showing for about 10 mins and then it was happy to accept my three presses of the button. So try walking away and making a cup of tea 😉 and then go back to it… maybe it needs to get to temperature a bit longer but once I did this the cleaning set up was easy……

There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.

And said that they emailed me a letter saying that I need to return my machine for a repair. And it will take a few weeks for it to be done. A FEW WEEKS😮 That means A FEW WEEKS of no coffee for me??? Wow. That is so disappointing. That shows that they don’t show no care for their customers.

A little tip guys do a mole descaling for the first use 2 cycles and follow instructions to make it out of descaling mode by pushing the lever and the bottom for 3 seconds. Leave it for some moments and u can prepare your coffee normally
The cleaning procedure should be completed approximately once a week, and prior to your first use on a new machine. Descaling can be after you've brewed approximately 300 capsules. We do recommend a weekly cleaning of your machine, to keep the machine running as good as possible in between descaling.
Ok that’s different than fist use as mentioned above. Also why not use spring water (never distilled) instead of tap water and you never have to descale. I have a regular espresso machine I’ve been using Spring water only for 10 years now and never have had to descale it. And no corrosion either.
@@nkcbrazil it was just to force it to clean up. But normally as Nespresso mentioned the descaling with a descaling is recommended each 6months or 300 capsules and once a week a normal cleaning with water 💧

Then as some had said, i pressed the button once while the light was blinking, made noises like it wanted to and nothing, then pressed it again, and wow, finally started working. Come on Nespresso, as much as these machines cost, shouldn’t have to go through this.

Hi there, I can confirm that process in the video only needs to be followed on the first use of your machine, if the tank has been run dry or not been used for a period of time, if your machine has been in placed in draining mode or has recently returned from repair and has been drained for transport. I bought mine two years ago and just opened and use it last week. It won't turn green it just steady orange light. Still works but just wonder why it's just on steady orange? I have tried resetting but still didn't go green light. Can anyone help? TIA

How do you turn the machine off? Does it shut off automatically after brewing or do you push the button?
All of our machines automatically turn off after 5 minutes!

@@nespresso ok vi también que hay una de breville y otra delonghi, la breville es un poco más grande y el tanque es de 60oz , la delonghi el tanque es de 40oz y no gotea cuando se termina de preparar el café, mi pregunta es , hay algún filtro que pueda yo utilizar mi café de preferencia?.

Just throw it out!
A little tip guys do a mole descaling for the first use 2 cycles and follow instructions to make it out of descaling mode by pushing the lever and the bottom for 3 seconds.
Leave it for some moments and u can prepare your coffee normally
