what is the length of the wire for the lanyard would you suggest?

It depends on length preference and if you have a reel attached as well. The design in the video uses (2) 24" lengths that are joined together by the clasp and the keyring. This was also taking into account the the crimping and any excess trimming, but that would be a good starting length to work with.

Is your lanyard made with neam wire? Or a wax rope?

What size wire do you recommend?

You can use almost any size of beading wire depending on the bead hole size. A lot of beads will have a hole size of 0.5mm-1.5mm, so you could start with a size 0.018 or smaller and that should fit most beads! How would you add a badge reel to this? Is that possible?

If you added a keyring like Rose used in the video (or some other type of large ring) you can clip the reel directly to that. Most reels have some sort of clip that can work with the keyring.
