I'm remember when we would finish school at Marist Brothers in Malaeloa and walk to Pritchards Bakery for them seki doughnuts and walk down to Kruse.
Kruse was our go to store back then.
But if you couldn't find what you were looking for you'd drive to Pava and go to Halecks store.
I remember walking (sopo) from Amaluia up to Pritchards to pick up fresh loaves of bread. Siamu popo is so delicious spread on a slice.

I actually juat remembered that my dad and I went to Kruse to get their ice cream. It was actually very popular in America Samoa. ( Thats what my dad niko told me lol ) The ice cream was actually really good. I think my dad told me he had it before like when he was young or something, but he said that it was really good and told me to try it. Hope yall can maybe try it again lol. All love from Kendall. Back in the day when we would go to cruise on a Sunday afternoon we would go to Morris Scanlan Gas Station in Utulei and gas up .
