Man… there is a part of music where the art is in what’s not played than what is played. This piece is a great example showing that silence is often a missing part of our daily music. Bravo.
@@Itsyoboyjy nice to meet you, John. My name is Jan Rak (Jan is actually John in my language). I’m not famous, although I got some acclaim amongst guitarist in my country due to my arrangements of music by Jaroslav Ježek, who was the most influential popular composer here in thirties. I used to give concerts regularly, but all changed after covid. Now I only teach little children which is basically the reason I began to compose these little minuets and other compositions of moderate demands.
I hope so! I have never thought I would ever be interested in classical music myself, yet alas - it just came to me without warning or even asking. Thank you for your kind comment.
Sure, you're playing one note at a time, but you are blending your line into all sorts of subtle chords. I think what you are doing is absolutely lovely, and this is a reminder of how much can be expressed from just a few notes.
Excellent tone and phrasing! Came up in recommended and I'm glad it did. This piece worked surprisingly well on that Romantic Era guitar. What are you using for strings?

I am happy to hear that someone shares my approach. Thank you.

@@garydlloyd7718 thank you very much, I’m happy you appreciate it..
Beautiful.
The guitar really shines with this lullaby so many sweet overtones 🥰
I am also amazed every time I played it. So much tone coming from such small a body!
Hearing you play single notes gives it a nice resonating sound out of the guitars sound hole. Beautiful playing, as always.
I am being amazed every time what deep and rich sound this little guitar can produce.
stunning beautiful ….
Thank you.
Anyone know who made this guitar?
Guy looks like a younger Pete Townsend.
@@kennethshort2016 unfortunately not, I am afraid.

Thank you very much. I use red Savarez normal tension, nothing special. It’s mainly because of the fact I have plenty of them.
@@unwrought9757 Awesome, thanks! That's the same string set that Alexandre LaGoya used too.
@@Josh.Vanjani oh really, did he? Thanks, I didn’t know that.
