@obviouscreed the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ gave glad tidings of Ramaḍān to his companions: أَتَاكُمْ رَمَضَانُ شَهْرٌ مُبَارَكٌ... “Ramaḍān has come to you, a Shahr Mubārak (blessed month)...” an-Nasāʾī 2106 As for saying Jumuʿah Mubārak, then we don't find the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ giving glad tidings in this regard nor his companions.
@@muadth2004 Assalamualaikum warehmatullah JazakAllahu khayr but This was not a greeting, this was RasoolAllah ﷺ informing his companions about the blessed month. This isn't tantamount to saying Ramadan Mubarak (as in May this month be blessed for you) but it was in the sense of conveying an information about the virtue of this month. This is not my own statement but I've heard this from scholars themselves.

It's not allowed to greet ....is this what Shaykh Rahimahullah meant?
The Shaykh meant it is ok to share general and good greetings.

How about Jumah Mubarak akhi?
It is an innovation to say Jumu'ah Mubarak
@@Salutaantonio so, by the same logic, why is saying 'Ramadan Mubarak' not a bida?
