Really enjoy your content I've been in tree work 28 yrs and I do climb not as much as when I was younger gotta lot of respect for u you do things I wouldn't and thank you for your service
Another great video. I've been working on creating content, but finding time can be hard. We have a channel for the company I work for, and we are slowly growing it. In this next year, my goal is to increase the number of posts. One tip I have for you is never saying a tree is "SAFE". By doing so you can assume liability of it. I've done TRAQ, and other assessment programs. I've also talked with lots of lawyers( my best friend is a high-end lawyer too). In all my conversations with them, it's better to use phrases like "I've reduced the risk" or "failure is unlikely". All trees have risk and can fail, you just don't want to designate one as "SAFE" and have someone sue you over it. Keep up the great work I love the videos!
Prunning Maples is one of the biggest thing in my job here in France, or at least, now December/November, and yeah, for some, you cannot work without your spurs on it. So, no hate for that one :P
Hi Tim, these trees were ruined many years ago...hard to make them safe and let them still look like a tree! What do think about the zillon lanyard? I always wanted to try it out, but many climbers don`t like it!
The zillon is awesome. It's super smooth and easy to use. No complaints here. I just had the idea to use it in conjunction with my captain hook. It would be a great device to replace the Gri Gri I've been using.
I use the Zillion and wire core flip lines.... after using wire core mostly I find myself being much more aware and mindful of the Zillion with my saw but I think that's a good thing. I actually really like the Zillion, it's awesome to be able to let yourself out under load. Super smooth but I don't have to deal with sappy tree's.
Thanks for your service and your great videos, I really enjoy your work. Merry Christmas to you. I’m looking forward to 2025 and more of your work. Be safe. 👍
I have no problem wearing spurs in this situation, that tree has way bigger things to deal with than some little pin pricks. Safer, faster,= go for it!
How many of you are TH-cam content creators? Let me know below!
I'm trying with old videos I have from Facebook. Poor quality

Same to you. 🎄
Don’t blame you for wearing the spikes.
lol
Hey.. there’s a hanger.
Nice work
I didn't see that hanger when I first looked at the job. 🫠 It was a surprise to me once I got up into the tree. Never a welcomed feeling. ☹️🤷♂️
Happy holiday's everyone
“Little tiny pricks” omg…… 😂😢😅
God bless buddy stay safe Merry Christmas I hope you have a wonderful New Year
Thanks br. Happy holidays.
I'm not a tree guy but about the spurs.. on a job like that with slippery branches, would a pair of calks be an option? Grip but not penetration?
It’s not happy holidays . It’s Merry Christmas and a happy new year !
Yo is that a gopro 360 getting all those sweet shots? I noticed it in the last video too.
Lets give it a go, see what happens - Custer 😊
Lol. Sometimes it be like that. 😀🤷♂️
The whole job looked sketch. You are a brave man.
Took me most of the day to prune those trees. Not an easy undertaking.

I wear pole gaffs so I always spur less 🤣 The petzl is steel core.
Haha, makes since.
Most trees heal up from gaffs snyways
What's that machine you are using.
What happened to the ctx160?
The Vermeer wasn't mine. You may see it in another video some day though.
