I love this series so much. South Korea is making really great bl movies. I just watched School 2021 and Kim Kang-min looks completely different. His character is the complete opposite. Amazing actor.
I really needed this. With all the pain and angst of S2, I was thinking of going to rewatch S1 to make me feel better and then I found this. Plus the music just made it really soothing to watch.
Rewatching this after season 2 make more sense. For me season 2 is so much better than season 1 but people were complaining about Jiwoo. The thing is JW is an introvert and had build a wall around himself where seoo joon is more outgoing and playful caharacter. The sentence „If it’s hard for you I will come to you“ explains their relationship dynamic.
As an introvert and a closed off person too, I can agree that JW was just a person on high guard but when his relationship with SJ started to grow more and more, it just felt like SJ was doing the most work just so he could be with him while JW also liked SJ and it came slowly to him, It just sometimes makes me think that SJ was the one active to keep their relationship going. I mean, JW literally believed a person working in his restaurant over his own boyfriend who he clearly knew worked so hard to have him and realized his mistakes and changed himself for the better to be a better boyfriend for JW. Don't get me wrong, I love JW but sometimes he just makes me feel off and makes me feel bad for SJ because of his broken heart and hard work only for JW :/
