Id like to see Norris on the wing with Timmy, I think their styles would compliment each other, and then a 2nd line of Bath, G , and Pinto would look really good as well. But excited to see Gaud on the top line for a bit
I think Norris is sadly too slow today to wing Timmy. It’s a problem with our lineup we don’t have an offensive winger fast enough and talented enough to keep up with Timmy.

Timmy is also awful at faceoffs… Norris is also one of the best in the league at them. Makes no sense that DJ or green haven’t tried those two together yet.

Good on Green for calling out that section of the Sens fan base that is trashing Brady. We've seen a player leave before, Spezza, from fan trashing. The last thing we need is Brady wanting out.. Sens have never had a player like him before..
They need to let go of the pressure. Whenever we are officially out of the playoffs and we start playing loosely we start doing great. How can we get the team to take on this mentality now and not when it’s too late.
I can see why folk might be pissed off with Brady but we need to understand that he’d be an utter beast on a top team. We just need to make that team US.
I appreciate Travis standing up for Brady and his players. But it’s also not fair to castigate the critique from the fan base. At the end of the day this team is on a record setting losing streak, season after season and this isn’t the only team that faces adversity and faces criticism for its captain. It’s perfectly ok to question whether we have the right captain and the right core. It’s not meant to be insulting or personal, it’s about building a core that can win hockey games. Everything else in this business is meaningless, it’s about winning, first by making the playoffs and second by winning a cup. I don’t think that taking shots at the fan base for expecting more is a good direction. That will alienate fans. The team needs to realize that this fan base is far beyond third period moral victories, in fact, that third period for this fan base was embarrassing. For the first time this club is facing real expectations - you need to thank the fans no matter what because they are the ones who buy the tickets and merchandise. If the fans are upset with the captains performance you need to take it on the chin. If the team is continuously losing games it should be winning, you need to look at that core group and ask hard questions. That’s what the fan base is doing when they question the emotional outbursts from Brady - they wonder where that fire was in the first period - this team only seems to compete when they’re on the verge of being embarrassed in a game, we all see it. So I think the fans and the media are right to question. The franchise can either Agee or disagree, if they disagree it’s up to them and the players to prove the fans and media wrong.
Why do they beat around the bush with these questions? Point blank - When you're down 3-1, should your captain be part of the team on-ice to stage the comeback, or enjoying the cold tub in the dressing room?
