    I’ve noticed everyone commenting that Bioré is “not cruelty-free” and I hate to break it to ya’ll, but almost nothing is cruelty-free. I know I’m gonna get hate for this but I’m gonna say it anyways. You can be vegan/vegetarian and buy something that is not 100% cruelty-free. It’s okay. Do the best you can. (If anyone watched The Good Place they explained it well there lol). Most vegans buy vegan butter that contains palm oil which is harvested by destroying the rainforest and the animal’s homes but no one comments on that. There are so many negative, unintended consequences to everything. So we can only do the best we can, but it doesn’t make us bad people. Just a little epiphany I had recently 🙂💕

      Totally agree, I've met many vegans that don't even consider palm oil. It's almost like wild animals and their habitats aren't as important as farmed animals.

    Kalyn, I've been watching you for probably going on 8 years now and I just want to say I've seen SUCH an incredible change in your disposition and mental health this year. Like you mention in this video, in the past I've noticed you sort of dissociating into hyper-productivity mode in your videos, when it was clear something was on your mind. I've seen such a change with how open you are recently- not even just being open about when you feel down, but you feel so much more authentic and open and free in terms of your life in general, your emotions, your relationships- it feels like you're letting us see the real you! I know that must be very scary to do to a large and semi-anonymous online platform, so I just want to say thank you!! I see you, and it makes me love you even more! You rock!!

    Kalyn, thank you so much for opening up about how it's okay to not be okay. I think that phrase gets tossed around a bit at surface level nowadays, but you reminded me to think more on it: it's OKAY to NOT be okay. To just BE that way and to not try to change anything. To just FEEL those emotions, whatever they may be, and to honor that part of the human experience. Your explanation of feeling like you had to try to get past those emotions, or wanting to run away from or escape them through food, shopping, travel, etc. REALLY resonated with me. It's been something that I have also been working on this year - to take that energy that makes me want to focus on something else, distract myself from the negative, escape or hide away from those feelings and channel it instead for self-care moments and self-love. Thank you, again. You bring so much light into so many lives. Be true to yourself, honor your human experience, and keep on sharing your love.

    Totally know what you mean when embracing how you feel, even the bad feelings. I have major depression disorder along with anxiety, and being accepting to having negative feelings has helped and healed me so much!

    I just went threw a depression spell this week too. At first I tried to fight and was upset with myself. But then I was like ok this usually happens in October. October is a bad month for me. I've had two people pass away in October a year apart, and a house fire one year. Plus the sessions changing and less sun and I just started a graveyard job. So one of my days off I just let my self feel it all. I bought ice cream, made popcorn and laid on the couch. I also read something that said your are not your emotions. You are not sad you are experiencing sadness. So I told myself I am not my depression I am just experiencing it right now. (Not saying that will work for everyone) I gave my self that day to just sit in it and cried a bit. The next day I felt good enough to do some self care and clean up the house and that made me feel better to. The last couple of days I've been feeling better so I got back into my workouts and that's been helping too. Sometimes you just gotta let yourself feel it. I hope you start feeling better mentally soon. And if not dont beat yourself up about it. Sending you lots of good juju!!

    I needed this vlog. Today is the 3rd anniversary of my dad passing and it's been hard. The weeks leading up to today have been very foggy, deep, and heavy feeling. Mentally stuck and drained. Sending love & light your way. xx

    Girl, I gained really great advice from you! I have been going through a really rough time since January, basically all of 2020. I have been trying to climb out of it and it has been rough. I have been trying to get in the habit of self care nights and treating myself but I tend to get wrapped up in all the stress that I forget. I also hate having people feel sorry for me so I push my feelings down a lot. I really need to practice just being ok not being ok. And stop trying to control my emotions! I needed this today, thank you! ♥

    This video came at the perfect time. I'm moving in two weeks, working full time, and taking college classes and I've felt so overwhelmed. I have also been making an effort over the past year to ride the wave of my feelings and not try to control them. This can be hard for my personality type as I tend to want to take control of everything and "fix" things so it's been an uncomfortable journey trying to get away from that. I honestly relate to you so much in your videos. Binge eating and shopping sprees used to be ways I would try to mask my feelings as well and it's something I've seen significant growth with in the past year. I see sooo much of that same growth in you. It is really all of the hard work you are doing on yourself coming to fruition. It's a tough journey but when you see that growth in yourself it is so worth it. I'm sending you so much love and good energy, my friend. This time of year is gloomy for me too, and you're so not alone. Keep taking care of yourself and listening to what you need.     Yas girl. Love the low point bit. Low points are part of the process too.
    As a woman with a womb, I track my cycles by taking my bbt every morning along with noticing other symptoms. It has been an incredible tool in learning about my natural energy cycles. At different times in your cycle, your energy levels vary! You may know this already. I’ve learned a lot about when my energy levels are consistently lower and to accept this. When I’m low in a different part of my cycle, then I know something might actually be up. And then the inverse is true! At some times in my cycle I have so much energy that drinking coffee gives me panicky type vibes! Anyway, it’s a great tool. I highly recommend the fertility awareness method / symptothermal method.

    I cannot explain how much this vlog came at the most perfect time. ❤️ I work so hard and don’t have low points often, but this past week was hell. I had to take a week off work (which I never do) and just sleep. It was so uncomfortable and I cried a lot because I couldn’t pinpoint why I was so tired. Today was the first day that I started to get a little more energy. Then watching this... 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 I feel 100 times better! Is there something in the air or what right now!?!?

It's normal to feel stressed out because you haven't settled quit yet. I just wentthrough a phase where I wasn't feeling good and very, very low energy and I felt so bad about the very low energy part and my mom tried to make me feel bad about the not feeling good part and I, just a week ago, finally said, no I have the right to feel this and you can't shame me for it and I can't shame myself for it, it's not like I'm going to die just for being really down for however long I wasn't feeling good. Thank you for saying it's okay too and thank you for your AMAZING content and everything you put out there!

    Thank you so much, this video was nice to watch because I have had many days I have felt down and anxious. With graduating college in a pandemic the expectations of after college life have been a big let down and quite challenging. I have definitely felt defeated many many days since March, this evening being one of them. I am going to come back to this video whenever I need a reminder that it is okay to feel down and that everything will work itself out eventually.

    This video could have literally been me on Saturday night, when I was watching your Taylor Swift RED video.
    This moment in time has been rough, and then you put personals struggles and problems on top and it suffocates you. So, I've done a lot of self care nights, self-partnered dates, and I have had to learn to sit in the low moment... and work through it instead of against it. I've also learned that when I pile up dishes in the sink, it's usually a sign that I'm doing so hot mentally.
    You should be proud of yourself that, even though you're not feeling 100%, it has not knocked you down! You're still doing the damn thing, and you're taking care of yourself! And that is amazing! ❤️✨❤️✨

    Love this so much! This year has definitely been a roller coaster. I have been working on cutting mused slack and working through my perfectionism (yay for gettin better but perfect isn’t possible) and today instead of pushing too hard when exhausted I just took a late afternoon nap and now feel much better, moved my body and feel inspired to edit tomorrow’s video! Much love!

    Literally feeling the exact same way like it’s so hard to pull myself out of bed but yet so hard to fall asleep I’m falling behind on things I’m usually so great with keeping up with And I’m being super hard on myself for it.
