- Amazing series of Zerg versus Protoss at the professional level of StarCraft 2. In this match between PartinG and Reynor we see PartinG go for some uncommon strategies. He opens up very aggressively with Photon Cannons regularly and then transitions towards an army that is extremely micro heavy, but very powerful if controller correctly. It's based around the Colossus, Stalker and Sentry.

I wanna thank you, Lowko. It has been 5 years since i stopped playing Sc2, but a i kept, eventually, watching your casts. Some days ago i started playing again, and i am loving it. I am not that good, i float around platinum 2 or 3, but i havs goods game and havs fun. Thanks for lighting that spark again.

playing as the red protoss probes from South Koria we are looking at the main base of PartinG...

well i did see that and it was awesome
now i am questioning myself since i dont play sc2 can you command blink into a formation or pattern because that 11:40 was a perfect circular formation
The target for the blink was in on the zerglings so the game just pushed the stalkers away to a suitable area which was outside the zerglings. The game does this to stop things from going into other things.
Jeb this game has strict collision for ground units (except workers when mineral walking) which is nice

Lowko, Banelings are not light units. They only have the tag: biological. They do get countered by Colossi because of their low hp.
For some reason your casts works great as background, when I can't actively watch what's happening. Don't get me wrong - I love watching intently too, but when I can't, you're painting a very nice picture of the matches. Sure I know I'm missing out on a ton of details, but I genuinely feel I still get the most of them better than with most casters. =D

"..becoming bit of a PartinG fanboy". Welcome to the fanclub! ;) I been a huge fan since he came back from the army, even though his play initially wasn't as good as now the creativity was already there. Lately he have been playing in god mode though(occasionally), last GSL was super exciting. I'm hoping he can take home next season of gsl, he just seems to get nervous some times but if he could fix that I think could will be top3-4 in the world for a while.

Definitely the best PvZ bo5 I've ever seen. The awkward army comp was super interesting, but PartinG's insane micro and force field placement made it work! Super fun series.

Dude this gives me so much hope as a Toss player, maybe if the forcefield was a tad cheaper or there was a sentry upgrade that generated energy faster i could try this and be a little more sloppy with the forcefields without dying

You can do a nuke drop rush with a CC flying in to turn into a PF to finish the opponent off.

the first 3 games were really something, those force shield were impressive really!
I think this was all inspired by florencio's movies. He's bad in the actual professional scene, but the way he learns and develops stuff can really be practically applied in some scenarios, and I think PartinG picked up on that.
I'm just on the second game right now, but this is so sick. I completely agree that this feels so different from other games and this is amazing!

Wait, Reynor couldn't see the DTs as they were going to attack the spore around 52:30? Because they were cloaked presumably? Maybe the spore thought it was already dead and declined to detect the DTs?

Great game. Parting really is trying to bring a new "meta" into the protoss game.... and it's wonderful. My micro is awful, so I would never be albe to pull out something like that, but it's great to see it

feel like if parting at 41:43 put force fields behind the zergs and samwhiched them between them he could have hit them with massive easy damage. if he had storm and did that then those forces would 100% be gone and he would have won the game off that.

Love the shadowstrike creep-clearing crew, what if some phoenixes would have been added to ward off the overseer? Not sure how the economics work out but that would be cool!
I really wish to see a TvP game on this channel. It makes me tierd of watching the zerg strugel against Terran or Protos nonstop
In a second game it is Parting merely being cocky. Over investing in his cannon rush, he keeps his inefficient wall in. He then went to creep with an army which can't kill Zerg, gave zerg plenty of time to make units and then he thought that merely using fancy sentry play will win him a game. While his Stalkers do nothing, but flee...
