The same at my LAN. With Iperf3 In the TCP mode I have transfer rates about 950 Mbit/s. With Open Speed Test I have around 970 Mbit/s. If you have a good look you can run 950 Mbit over your network. But your home network doesn't run with HTTPS. That is comparing apples with oranges.
totusoft lan speed test seems to be a bit less annoying, needing only a directory URL and has its own UI instead of being an http page, but this one seems to look more..reliable?
@rickMakes what local networking software do you recommend for local home sftp data storage. server running windows 10. other devices running all kinds of OS.
Wired or wireless? Did you do any tests with OpenSpeedTest? It can be used to find bottlenecks in your system. You can test between different points to find out where it is slow.
@@Maxid1 Old comment but may have been that the computer limited to 100Mps only has a 10/100 Ethernet card and the other computer has a gigabit Ethernet card. LAN or Internet speed is only as fast as the weakest link.
I don't know if SSL can be easily added to it. Most of my SSL experience is on Nginx. You could try using software like Nginx as an SSL proxy but I don't know if or how to set that up on Windows. I also don't know if it would work. It might be something to research.
LAN speed doesn't determine internet speeds as well as any bandwidth limitations of the server were you are downloading the game from. They can have 100's of people downloading their software so they have to enforce some bandwidth limitations per connection to prevent taking down their servers.
Are you having trouble reaching it on the Windows 10 computer, some other device or both? If you can open it on the computer running the OpenSpeedTest server but not on other devices, I'm thinking that is probably a Windows firewall issue.
Absolutely brilliant presentstion sir
Very clear concise ,and spoke steadilly,😊
iperf3 has vastly different result compared to this. I wonder which one is more accurate.

This was actually useful I am using this to test wifi speed in my home
Excellent, something is defo wrong with my 1Gb LAN, its 90d/95u... hopefully its just a new cable is needed
Exellent info and help sir,thanku😊

Great Video, stumbled on this searching for a way to check network issues.
Thank you!
Is it possible to rewrite the code, for example, to have a speed test for a whole year?
Thanks, great video
I tested a 1 gig service yesterday, but my computer would only test up to 100mbps.On another computer it tested over 900mbps. any ideas?

@@Rickmakes Wired. I didn't do any tests with that. I'll try that.

how to add ssl certificate?

how come that i have 7500 Mbps download and 6400 Mbps but i can only download games at max 10 Mbps

Really helpfull video
Higher speed when all network devices disconnected and disabled.
Something is wrong with this software.
