The story was very impactful, and even I can relate in many ways to Jihye... like keeping to myself and closing off everything else other then what I want to hear.. and although it's my personality, I learned to open up more. It's not so bad taking it out with family, even if it's complicated it'll get better in time with patience.

i love the cockroach and cicadas theory here. the way they represent cockroach and cicadas as the siblings' trauma. jihye hate cicadas because their parent asked her when she was little with whom will she live, her mom or her dad, as the cicadas sounded bigger and bigger in her ear. jihan hate cockroaches because there were lots of cockroaches in his dad's house.. it's just so meaningful to me
Something similar can happen to anyone anywhere anytime. My parents got divorced when I was 13. Money was scarce. Being the oldest brother I took an unskilled job and helped with the economy. My brother became a doctor, one younger sister became an economist in a big company, the other one became a head nurse in a hospital. As children we fought but never so much that we lost solidarity. All things considered things did not work out so bad after all. But I never married. Ruined families always have consequences, one way or another.
This is a wonderful Drama Special! This is a little bit different from the usual cliche korean dramas that we watch but it is good different. Not very much far from reality. Anyone could relate. It inspired me a lot too! Who knows, I might write a book all about cockroaches and cicadas? Haha. I also love the song at the last part. :)
In the end of this movie really reminds meh how much your brothers love you!!! Even sometimes he didn’t said anything but he love you the most!!!! I’m such a blessed having two brothers with meh cuz they never allow anyone to touch meh!!!! Yeah we all cry in different !!!!
I cried in silence. It was a heart felt movies. Great indeed, it was short but you will be able to learn about family and how we cope up in every circumstances as an individuals. I loved it knowing that like me they grown up without a father just with their strong mom who did the duty of being a mother and 😭father at the same time. I salute her mom ❤💋

This is a wonderful Drama Special! This is a little bit different from the usual cliche korean dramas that we watch but it is good different. Not very much far from reality. Anyone could relate. It inspired me a lot too! Who knows, I might write a book all about cockroaches and cicadas? Haha. I also love the song at the last part. :)

In the end of this movie really reminds meh how much your brothers love you!!! Even sometimes he didn’t said anything but he love you the most!!!! I’m such a blessed having two brothers with meh cuz they never allow anyone to touch meh!!!! Yeah we all cry in different !!!!
I cried in silence. It was a heart felt movies. Great indeed, it was short but you will be able to learn about family and how we cope up in every circumstances as an individuals. I loved it knowing that like me they grown up without a father just with their strong mom who did the duty of being a mother and 😭father at the same time. I salute her mom ❤💋
