I mostly followed the lyrics, but also focused a lot on the last few episodes.
I loved them, because we finally got to see damon acting as a true big brother and that gave me so many feels.
And making this video made me realise that Bonnie's "the fire will take you out" at the end of season one actually came true... and that made me so emotional.
I'm gonna go cry over defan and stefan's death some more q___q
On a side note, today I reached 1.9k subs! Thank you SO much! I can't believe I'm less than 100 subs away from 2k o___o I'm gonna have to think about what to do to celebrate!

Back in season 3 when it was all about which brother Elena was gonna choose, my hope was that the Damon and Stefan would decide to choose each other and leave Elena behind because ultimately even though they had other loved ones, their relationship was the most important of all and in the end that's what we got. Great video!

Honestly, as much as I love all the other aspects of the show, the bond between Stefan and Damon is what truly makes it my favorite show of all time. It reminds me so much of the bond my brother and I have. I know I would sacrifice myself for him, and he would do the same for me. Damon’s “I love you little brother” and Stefan’s “I love you too” will always get me 😭 Thank you for making such a great video

Honestly Paul and Ian had amazing chemistry and that's rare! but it's so unfortunate that this show only became about romance and about two brothers fighting over the same girl. In my opinion these two became a lot closer after Elenas disappearance. They loved each other and sacrificed their lives for each other. Defan is the only reason I kept up (to some extent) with the show! Beautiful video, you definitely highlighted their best moments!

In the first seasons they portrait Damon as a bad brother and the brothers had no brotherly relationship whatsoever but in the later seasons (practically 7 and 8) these two grew closer to each other and were sacrificing themselves for each other! As Stefan himself said it, we saw the old damon. The damon that was willing to do everything for his family❤ Elena going away was kinda good for the show in that sense. The writers seem to understand that later on.

I cried with this video. It’s heart warming and beautiful. I was very happy with the ending of the series. To see them come together at last and in peace. It’s revolting to see all the hate that is avalanche toward Damon and Stephan. For me TVD was about the Salvatore brothers, love, forgiveness and redemption. Why can’t the fans not see that?Why make a show (that is obviously dear ours hearts) into such a malicious war between the fans. All the characters forgave each other, why can we do the same?

That's why Stefan is giving Damon visions of what his human life will look like. Damon hasn't lived as a human. He hasn't lived, period. Their love cuts both ways. Damon gets his human life with Elena, but it's without Stefan. Stefan is happy to self-sacrifice in the knowing that his brother will finally live, but he won't get to enjoy it with him. Damon and Elena are every bit what he and Katherine could've been, only they're human. Stefan would've eventually died as a human.

I love delena it is by far for me the most sincere and intimate and just amazing love story I’ve seen on a film or tv series I was so happy they got their happy ending but in a way I liked it when nina left the show cos we got to see his relationship with bonnie and especially Stefan really go deeper he became the man elena wanted him to be all by him self that’s what the last two seasons were for me damon becoming the big brother the loving husband and the great friend he was meant to be all without elena being there cos ultimately knowing she was alive and still loving him was all he needed and Stefan was falling in love with Caroline aswell as bonding with Damon ik the villains and storyline in the last two seasons kinda sucked but I loved the development with these two nd I truly felt terrible Damon lost his baby brother and proud that Stefan sacrificed himself so he could finally be the brother he knew from all this years ago
