Seeing a living rhino with horns that big is a privilege. There are people out there fighting the good fight to make sure our kids and the kids after them can still live in a world with these wonderful creatures.
in Denmark we had a rhino named Brutalis. In captivity he was DESTRUCTIVE. He ended up being released in Africa and died during a territorial dispute with another rhino.

They're not even bad tempered. They just have poor eye sight. Everything is a blob to them and if it's a reasonable sized blob moving towards them they just assume it's a predator if it's too close to run they attack.

After all these years Ozzyman went viral in my country! Like ten years ago! He still brings me joy! Especially the song he made about Garry the baby Emu! Keep it up Ozzymen! Your video's should be mandatory for people having a bad day!
I met an extremely friendly and tame white rhino just like this at a major zoo in Thailand (square lips, two horns, gap in front teeth). It loved attention and was gladly interacting with everyone… mouth wide open, no bars. Such a gentle giant. Never seen something with teeth like that so docile. A hippopotamus, it ain’t!
Is that still in Arizona? I went years ago when it was in Scottsdale. I had been mugged and had a broken jaw. I wanted to be outside for the rest of my vacation, but I needed to be around people to feel safe, and that was the perfect solution!

So I've pretty much kept all of my banking offline, and the ever present fraud alert means I never get the "apply today and take off an extra 20%" deals. But they didn't have to wire the jaw, and after 6 weeks, they filed down the points on my teeth (they'd moved), and the person wasn't able to clear out my accounts bc my atm was not a debit yet. Could have been much worse, I suppose. Would love to go back someday, just won't go alone. 🙂

I'm pretty sure that entry door, with it's cracks and loose screws and hardware, is entirely insufficient to properly keep that gargantuan magnificent beast secured! But I could be wrong.
Wild ones are chill too. They just have poor eyesight and think of anything that moves as a potential predator. If you sit still a wild rhino will walk up and sniff and let you pet it until it walks away.

I went to the original Fountain Hills location of the park in the 90's.
So rare to see rhinos with complete intact horns even if captivity they usually get cut to a round shape
