In this video we will go over replacing the Keyboard for Dell XPS 9360 keyboard. In order to replace the keyboard for this Dell XPS 9360 laptop we had to remove the motherboard and take the entire laptop apart. Make sure you use the right tools :)

This is a great video. I would have liked you to have posted the video of the complete reassembly of the device as well. Just makes it easier to follow the whole process that way. These keyboards do fail. And what should be a 5 minute job to replace them Dell has decided should take at least 30 minutes and risks damaging several other components. Probably easier to get a qualified Tech to do the job if you have the money. Otherwise, say a prayer before you begin and hope for the best.

Thanks for the tutorial. My plan was to replace the US keyboard with a different one and replace the battery with a new one. After disassembling the whole thing I realized the new keyboard doesn't line up with the frame and the laptop wont accept the new battery since it's not OEM. So the parts and all this time was completely useless.

Atrocious design... why do I have to disassemble the whole thing just to replace the stupid keyboard, jesus...
