      Reymon Reyes --- He's great at medium length TT's and climbing TT's, this one was a bit short and fast.

    I'd love Dumoulin to win, and I love The Giro but man I hate the Giro legitimising all that Israel has done to the ethnic population of that land. I'll watch it when it's in Italy.

    • @tFighterPilot
      @tFighterPilot 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Don't believe everything you see on the news. If by native population you mean Arabs, then there are many more of them in Israel today than there were before 1948, meanwhile there are around 0 Jews in Arab countries, since these were actually ethnically cleansed.

    • @geralddavis7401
      @geralddavis7401 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is because I don't believe the news but have educated myself over many years that I know that is not true. I am 68 and started cycle racing at 15. I am Jewish. I live in the UK. I was a cheerleader for the Yom Kippur war and the six day war but that was then. Then I studied, and it is because I study that I now know what happened following the Balfour Declaration and yes, the ethnic cleansing that was carried out on families who had lived there for generations and their homes are still being bulldosed today. Not all Jews are Israelis my friend and very few Israelis are Jews.

      Even when it will come to Italy, you will see the Israel cygling team and the israeli riders.

    • @geralddavis7401
      @geralddavis7401 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup I know that Tal, and for the record I am equally appalled at pro teams now being state-sponsored by Bahrain and UAE. Two more countries with appalling human rights records, with disappearances, torture and zero democracy. It is the antithesis of what sport is about and I am in no doubt it is to authenticate and give credence to themselves through money. Doesn't work for me and I would be ashamed to be a pro rider and take money from ppl like them.
