it's from the same album, when people put out an album they put in tracks with variety for all types of listeners, it wouldn't be nice to put 8 tracks that are all similar yk what i mean? i mean it's fine if you don't like it, ngl mountains is my least favorite track on the album. also, no, stray kids write and produce all of their songs and they have to like it enough in order to put it out- the members like this song, because surprise surprise just bc you think it's trash doesn't mean it is for everyone.. your opinion is not fact. other than chk chk boom, i'd say my ratings of the album would be this: 1. chk chk boom 2. jjam (very experimental unique sounding, dance type, with a lot of beat changes) 3. i like it (pop sound with good rap verses, the beat switches confused me at first but i grew to love it) 4. twilight (basically, a jazz song with good singing, this one is pretty chill you can't really go wrong with it) 5. runners (full english song, it sounds a bit cyber punk but it's soft, ig that's my only analysis it's just very catchy) 6. stray kids (an anthem song kind of, the lyrics are deep to them and it would honestly be my favorite to sing at their concert despite it's low rankings here) 7. mountains so you might wanna check out the top songs (they don't have a music video though) there are translated lyric videos titled color coded which are the best type of lyric videos for kpop, so check those out for another reaction if you want.
Not every song is going to be for everyone. In terms of this album, I actually love Mountains but would put I Like It last in my personal ranking. If you want to check out another title track, check out God's' Menu or Lalalala, or even some of the harder Bsides like Topline and Megaverse. They tend to put a variety of styles on their albums, and its fine if you don't like all of them. They have complete creative control, which leaves them the freedom to do whatever they particularly feel like at the time. They like to experiment, especially with the Bsides, which this is.
People, stop giving these guys advice about anything! I just took a look at their other videos and they're only listening to kpop to criticize and rage-bait in order to maximize engagement and profit.
@@DebM88 i'd rather give a person the benefit of the doubt in hopes they actually give stray kids a chance and drop their ignorance than hate and once again reinforce the stereotype that kpop fans are crazy and attack anyone for anything. sure, they might be, they might not be too. usually people who do it for clout fake liking it so they could gain a bigger audience but they didn't, soo..
