Much appreciated! Even went to the dealer with my 08 Commander and they had no idea which one was the radio fuse because it's not clearly marked. Saved me a lot of time (and $$)
GREAT VID! I was going crazy and the goofs at the dealership I called wont tell you shit! They want yu to come in and get it serviced! My stereo in my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited stopped working after I made a stupid mistakes and bumped the pos. to the negitive cable while rotating my battery I was putting it. it just touched long enough to make a spark. a fraction of a second. I finished hooking up the battery started the jeep and the radio would not come back on. Right away I pulled the 30 amp (AUDIO) fuse under the dash and it was blown so I replaced it thinking problem solved but NOPE!!! STILL no power! I called the dealership just to get the run around when I asked if there was another fuse or "INLINE fuse" he said no. I pulled the stereo to check it and nothing smelled fried so that was a good sign! I put it back in and kept tinkering but nothing was working. I found your vid showing the one under (20 amp) the hood and sure enough it was blown. It is almost 11 pm and I finally got this thing working after blowing my mind!!! It would help A LOT if they would label them properly in the manual and the fuse box! The thing is these days they DONT WANT you to fix stuff yourself! I have smelled blown stereos and speakers in all my years so I knew it was not that! They would have charged me $200 to change a fuse FFS! Thanks bro!!!
Bro thank you so much for this video I was about to replace my radio I was about to try to rewire my whole everything in my jeep and I was about to get a new key fob but I put the fuse you said to put in because I originally took it out because I thought it was extra and everything works I will be re-creating this video showing my followers this little tip and spreading the word to thank you so much again!!!
Hi thanks, where do you buy this fuse at? My radio on the 2008 jeep commander all of a sudden went out today. Can you tell me exactly what I need to purchase? Thank you so much.
If you replace the "Spare" fuses, your airbag light will go off. Those aren't spares, they are actually part of the SRS system. Just a typo that Jeep never addressed. Wasn't that nice? I know this is an old video butI thought somebody else might need this info

Six years ago God bless you. Thanks for the help!
Thanks. This helped a lot. Woke up to a dead radio in my commander and this was the issue.
Thank you for the help. This is the only video that mentions this fuse as a solution to a dead radio. Fixed mine instantly.

Helped me out this morning, thank you!
I just wanted to put this on here that the #1 fuse (30 amp) does run the amplifier and without tht fuse you won’t have any sound from your speakers.
For my 09 GC, the YELLOW pair are NOT SPARES. They are #29 & 30 and are for the OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROL. They are mis-marked on the cover.
Thanks for the video! That fuse was blown on mine and now the radio works!!
I’ve been searching everywhere for the radio fuse. Thank you.
Hola disculpe cuando muestras la fusilera que está debajo del volante cuando fusible hay que cambiar de allí??
