Our most memorable bey we got was actually from a set that had Storm Pegasis(Blue with Red) and a GOLD Lighting L-Drago! I played with the L-Drago a lot since it was my favorite bey and the original version of it was hard to find at the time. I do love the old gen beys and keep any rares I was able to get in a case for safe keeping. Anyways the video looks like a lot of fun and nostalgia! Cheers~

I remember getting into beyblade by watching the MFB anime. I was so excited when I saw beyblades in the stores for the first time. The first bey I got was a hasbro Storm Pegasus and I got it with the blue pegasus stadium. It was only a month later until I got my 2nd bey, Flame Sagitario. It always beat Storm Peagsus but I still loved my Pegasus the most.

To answer the question of my first beyblade, it was the Dragoon S or Dranzer S. I had two Dranzer S's because the attack ring broke on my first one (on the 2nd one too :/). I lost the rubber tip on the bottom of Dragoon S as well but found something to replace it that worked just as well
My first Beyblade was Ultimate Frostic Dranzer! I got it when I was very young in grade 4 and I remember being so happy that I finally got a Beyblade because back then they were always sold out. It was one of the first generation plastic Beyblades that required you to screw in the spin gear. Thinking back, those were good times! Thanks for doing this guys!
So I’ve been collecting and playing Beyblade since Metal Fusion first came out. I have around 200 Beyblades as of right now, but my favourite moment so far is: My friend and I were recording ourselves playing Beyblade in case anything cool happened. We both had modded launchers (Those ones made of a metal bar, if anyone remembers that bbg video) and we decided to battle my counter Leon against his counter Leon. We launched at the exact same time and hit each other at the middle of the stadium. So basically they hit each other with such force that they both flew across my room (Pretty big room btw) They both hit the wall, we go to see the damage to the beyblades only to find that they’re not broken at all. As for my walls though.. one had a dink in the wall and the other had a small hole. Never used those launchers again 😂

I hate weeaboos, How does saying bey instead of the lesser known titles make him a weeb? Most of the kids here know Beyblade through normal television (in the English dub, mind you) and all they've every referred the tops as were beys. Also: the term “blade/blades” isn’t for “nostalgia” because it isn’t. You probably don’t know the meaning of nostalgia. The reason why most people who grew up saying blade/blades is because we’ve watched the series since day one unlike these new generations who grew up with an idiotic term. Also one more thing to explain why they should’ve kept the term blades instead of beys and why it’s better to use: first of all, when the original season came out in Japan back in 2000 (not 2001), they said beigoma or bei. But it was spelt b.e.i and was not the short term of the word beyblade. When it came here to North America in 2002, Nelvana or Hasbro whoever did it, changed it to blade/blades to be a western or North American version or translation of beigoma or bei as in b.e.i. They say blade like an actual blade because blades are used to attack or destroy things. And that’s why they made the short term blade. Also: it’s in the word beyblade and for bonus points it just sounds cool. Now when Metal Fusion came along, the whole entire series was trying to be like an entire translated version of the Japanese version. Similar to what Power Rangers Samurai did. They did everything note for note and basically just translated the whole Japanese script which let me tell you it sounds like nonsense most of the time in English. You don’t have to copy everything off the Japanese version. That’s why we wanted to bring anime to North America in the first place. Is not only to dub in English, but to make it a little bit of our own. What’s Japan is Japan’s. Don’t try or copy everything they made. I mean yeah, the original would only sometimes have translated dialogue, but not all the time. They even changed the names of some of the characters from Japanese to English names which sometimes pisses people off when dubs do that aka weeabs. But it doesn’t make a huge deal and the English names are easier to remember for kids and besides they still suit the characters. So bottom line, people in the beyblade community need to stop overusing the term “bey/beys” and stick to the original term from the dub aka “blade/blades” or bei/beigoma.

I had all of the original blades ! Bey blade was my life but I left my blades at a friends and his dad threw them out 😭 he thought they were his and said he needed to grow up ...ever since that I've felt an emptiness in me ....

My first one was a Knight Dranzer; waaay back in the day. I would launch it from chest level on solid concrete but somehow it didn't break. Testament to its quality!
My most memorable beyblade is my Zeutron Z2. I got him right as Toys R Us was going out of business. The shelves were so picked over I was worried I wouldn't find anything, and then there he was! One of the Supreme Four!! I was so geeked I carried him in my pocket the whole day.
Draciel MBD was my first bey. I remember bladers launching their beys & the beys running up and onto the walls. One day I tried it & Draciel would make it half way up. The last attempt it actually made it all the way to the ceiling!... then it crash landed on my floor. Somehow the attack ring fused with the rest of the bey & won't come apart without applying a lot of pressure.
My very first beyblade was the one most sought after back in the days *Black Dranzer* . I was only 5-6 yr old and once when I was battling my friends one day. I always thought Black Dranzer to be the most powerful bey but when I lost one round I was shocked. In a feat of anger I threw it away so hard that it shattered into pieces. If only I knew how it would become one of the rarest beyblades out there I would've thought twice before I did anything reckless
My first beyblade was Rock Orso that I got in 2010 at age 12. I didn't have any others, so I just enjoyed watching it spin on the tile floor. It wasn't until June 2012 that I got some Metal Masters Beyblades on sale that I had my first battles
My first bey was around 5-4 years ago when I got the hasbro rivals set which had victory valtryek an storm spryzen and a yellow stadium good memories still got the beys and the stadium
My very first beyblade was Dranzer V2. I remember getting it at a toys-R-Us. I believe I was maybe 8 or so years old when I first got it. It doesn't have any of the stickers cause I was young and either threw them away, didn't know it went on it, or I believe I accidently put the Dranzer sticker onto one of those giant plastic beys that just light up. But yeah it was my first beyblade and I still have it and it was my most memorable because it basically just got me to love beyblade more, even if I didn't know it yet back then. There is actually a beyblade from back then I'm still trying to get and it's a black Galeon 2. Man years later and I'm still trying to accomplish my childhood dream of getting Galeon 2 black version, my favorite bey because Galeon is just such a freaking cool bit beast.
Dragoon S clear version was my first Beyblade. It happen to me too when I was a kid. I saw box art of Dragoon V, and I thought it has as bey in the box but it was some random Beyblade. Later I finally found the actual Beyblade of Dragoon V from Entertainer shop was like "Yes, I want it!" Ah memories.
My memorable one was Driger V2.. never had it though because my mom bought me Wyborg instead way back 2002/03. I guess i kinda liked Wyborg because it was violet. But still... Driger V2 damn. Currently ordered one on ebay now. I wont be playing with it... i just want to finally own it after 19yrs lmao.
Man the plastic gen beys were so much more satisfying. you really felt like you were building your own Beyblade.Now it's just pre assembled parts you twist together.
It'd be really sweet if TT could do a re-release of the plastic generation for the 20th anniversary just to combat resellers. T__T At least with the Dragoon, Dranzer, Draciel and Driger lines. The burst format remake beyblades are okay but actually building the beybade is a lot more fun than just taking 3/4 parts out of a container and twisting them together, lmao.
They could also avoid specific beyblades not selling (Draciel F...) by selling them in generation sets similar like the S line, F line, V2 line, etc. TAKARA TOMY PLS ;____;
My most memorable moment is when I found beyblade burst in walmart when it was new and sense I wasn't good at beyblade and never knew what were good ones, I got valtryek and i was sooooo happy, I also got deathsyther. My first Beyblade ( Not Beyblade Burst ) was Dragoon Fantom and my second Beyblade was Meteo L Drago and to tell you honestly, I am super super super super super happy and thankful to my mom for getting those beyblades. I have some Beyblade Burst God beys like Legend Spriggan and Spriggan Requiem, Drain Fafnir, etc. I also have Mirage Fafnir and Rage Longinus. I am super super super super super super happy and thankful to my mom for getting those beyblades.

My first and favorite bey for a while was a hasbro Galaxy Pegasus. I loved attack types(still do) and I only used it and my Vulcan Horuseus even though I had about 12 others.
I remember my first bey(s) were metal fusion beys. it was a dual pack that had rock aquario and storm pegasus and then the next day my first stadium i ever got was the pegasus thunder whip stadium. I played with those beys so much.
My brother used the same beyblade with a wide weight disc and the basic blade base, it was an amazing beyblade. My brothers best and most iconic beyblade out of his collection, sadly he lost the other beys somewhere but he still has driger V with the grip and launcher.
Mine was a not main character. It was a red one with a + spikes. Absolutely destroyed everyone else. Even my sisters digger with a ball bearing base. Good ol days

I almost got Driger F as my first Beyblade BUT the kid that was in the store with me stole it one second before I reached it XD And so....I had to buy the only one left....Draciel S Now I got em both, I still like to battle with them, takes me almost 20 years back!!! In Italy there weren't fake beys lookalike the original ones We only had complete fakes, never similar to the ogs. At least from what I remember :) Speaking of memorable ....I remember a lot Dranzer F, one day the bit chip broke apart and I was so sad!!! The next days I battled as f. With the kid that broke my Dranzer with his FAKE RC BEY, he also smiled about it and then, after few days, with my repaired Dranzer, I broke HIS bey xD Was like an anime revenge HAHAHAHA

My memory bey has to be Leone.....my one...and only....Rock Leone. The good times I had got ruined ad the Wide Ball tip began to crack.....I did have an official Beyblade from Hasbro, but the stadiums.....weren’t. Like I had fun and that was it. Until I had to replace the tip, and battle again and again. I then went from Rock Leone to Counter Leone, then Fang Leone. All the forms.....So sad.....now I don’t have them anymore, but all the Spryzens I have kinda fills in that gap of loneliness in my heart.

Draciel MBD was my first bey. I remember bladers launching their beys & the beys running up and onto the walls. One day I tried it & Draciel would make it half way up. The last attempt it actually made it all the way to the ceiling!... then it crash landed on my floor. Somehow the attack ring fused with the rest of the bey & won't come apart without applying a lot of pressure.
First gen beyblades were the best! All newer ones look like garbage

My very first beyblade was the one most sought after back in the days *Black Dranzer* . I was only 5-6 yr old and once when I was battling my friends one day. I always thought Black Dranzer to be the most powerful bey but when I lost one round I was shocked. In a feat of anger I threw it away so hard that it shattered into pieces.
If only I knew how it would become one of the rarest beyblades out there I would've thought twice before I did anything reckless
My first beyblade was Rock Orso that I got in 2010 at age 12. I didn't have any others, so I just enjoyed watching it spin on the tile floor. It wasn't until June 2012 that I got some Metal Masters Beyblades on sale that I had my first battles
My first bey was around 5-4 years ago when I got the hasbro rivals set which had victory valtryek an storm spryzen and a yellow stadium good memories still got the beys and the stadium
My very first beyblade was Dranzer V2. I remember getting it at a toys-R-Us. I believe I was maybe 8 or so years old when I first got it. It doesn't have any of the stickers cause I was young and either threw them away, didn't know it went on it, or I believe I accidently put the Dranzer sticker onto one of those giant plastic beys that just light up. But yeah it was my first beyblade and I still have it and it was my most memorable because it basically just got me to love beyblade more, even if I didn't know it yet back then. There is actually a beyblade from back then I'm still trying to get and it's a black Galeon 2. Man years later and I'm still trying to accomplish my childhood dream of getting Galeon 2 black version, my favorite bey because Galeon is just such a freaking cool bit beast.
Dragoon S clear version was my first Beyblade.
It happen to me too when I was a kid. I saw box art of Dragoon V, and I thought it has as bey in the box but it was some random Beyblade.
Later I finally found the actual Beyblade of Dragoon V from Entertainer shop was like "Yes, I want it!"

My memorable one was Driger V2.. never had it though because my mom bought me Wyborg instead way back 2002/03.
I guess i kinda liked Wyborg because it was violet. But still... Driger V2 damn.
Currently ordered one on ebay now.

It'd be really sweet if TT could do a re-release of the plastic generation for the 20th anniversary just to combat resellers. T__T At least with the Dragoon, Dranzer, Draciel and Driger lines.
The burst format remake beyblades are okay but actually building the beybade is a lot more fun than just taking 3/4 parts out of a container and twisting them together, lmao.
They could also avoid specific beyblades not selling (Draciel F...) by selling them in generation sets similar like the S line, F line, V2 line, etc.

I got my first one in 2001….. it’s been 20 years! Just got 2 new burst Beyblades and 2 arenas for my 6 year old today and it sent me back!
My most memorable moment is when I found beyblade burst in walmart when it was new and sense I wasn't good at beyblade and never knew what were good ones, I got valtryek and i was sooooo happy, I also got deathsyther. Now valtryek is my fav bey and valt my fav character and last but not least Valtryek was my first burst bey, and my first bey i got that i remember.

My first Beyblade ( Not Beyblade Burst ) was Dragoon Fantom and my second Beyblade was Meteo L Drago and to tell you honestly, I am super super super super super happy and thankful to my mom for getting those beyblades. I have some Beyblade Burst God beys like Legend Spriggan and Spriggan Requiem, Drain Fafnir, etc. I also have Mirage Fafnir and Rage Longinus. I am super super super super super super happy and thankful to my mom for getting those beyblades.

My First Beyblade is the Metal Fury Beat Lynx and ofcourse it is a Bootleg version of it, but I have so much Fun Battling with it...and I bought when I was in Grade 4 and I remember saving money just to buy it...thats when I start getting into beyblades, Im still into beys though even I'm becoming a First year college😊

My first and favorite bey for a while was a hasbro Galaxy Pegasus. I loved attack types(still do) and I only used it and my Vulcan Horuseus even though I had about 12 others.
I remember my first bey(s) were metal fusion beys. it was a dual pack that had rock aquario and storm pegasus and then the next day my first stadium i ever got was the pegasus thunder whip stadium. I played with those beys so much.
My brother used the same beyblade with a wide weight disc and the basic blade base, it was an amazing beyblade. My brothers best and most iconic beyblade out of his collection, sadly he lost the other beys somewhere but he still has driger V with the grip and launcher.
Mine was a not main character. It was a red one with a + spikes. Absolutely destroyed everyone else. Even my sisters digger with a ball bearing base. Good ol days

The next days I battled as f. With the kid that broke my Dranzer with his FAKE RC BEY, he also smiled about it and then, after few days, with my repaired Dranzer, I broke HIS bey xD

My memory bey has to be Leone.....my one...and only....Rock Leone. The good times I had got ruined ad the Wide Ball tip began to crack.....I did have an official Beyblade from Hasbro, but the stadiums.....weren’t. Like I had fun and that was it. Until I had to replace the tip, and battle again and again. I then went from Rock Leone to Counter Leone, then Fang Leone. All the forms.....So sad.....now I don’t have them anymore, but all the Spryzens I have kinda fills in that gap of loneliness in my heart.
My most memorable bey was probably driger ms it was really OP back in the day I remember when I used to battle my friend's with it once one of my friends got a zues and we'd battle all the time...good times

My first beyblade was Storm Pegasus (Takara Tomy version), i remember my mom gave it too me when i was 7 years old and i got really hyped because i watched the anime. Surprisingly my mom also gave me an L Drago to because i don't have any beyblades back then so Storm Pegasus and Lightning L Drago are my first beyblades

My first and most memorable beyblade was an original lightning ldrago,I got it when I was a kid and I kept playing with it again and again. But eventually I seperated the parts and lost it "cue childhood tears" hahaha
