In a world full of rappers trying to act like they're something they're not, its really refreshing to see such a well educated guy embrace where he's from and not try to front like the usual 'rapper'
Feels like us (the UK) have been waiting 8 years + for a moment like this. I remember there being a time when UK artists had to beg US artists to repost Ft on their stories or to even acknowledge their existence. I know that KTO know how culturally important this interview is to people within the UK because they picked the right guy to interview for it. So happy for everyone involved in this scene.
this is something the uk scene does so well (in alot of creative fields). everyone just works together and doesn’t ask for too much in return. something the us can lack this and be way too individualistic. defo helps the uk grow
@@dxvefn fe that was just a complete geuss ibr I know nothing about it lol. Just drawing from other fields thats often the case. The wider public/mainstream and people who already succeeded have always been critical from what ive seen tho

its really refreshing to have a young artist like this in the scene, really seeing how he took his success from black & tan and catapulting it off his different projects just shows his dedication to his craft. love YT man hes the goat
That degree is a testimony of YT's drive and thought process when going into decisions and artistry respect to both YT n KTO brudda dis is a great interview
this is INCREDIBLY inspirational for thousands of kids out there, balancing education and music while providing something different and creative to the uk scene. he's smart and played his cards right, now hes only goin up
I remember when YT and Lancey got brought out at the Ian show here in London shit was crazy, everyone knew the lyrics automatically. Even more than songs like Omakase.
he is actually smart af, so glad the uk scene is having this new wave rn with lancey leading the pack, they lowkey levels above the us everything just feels so fresh and right
relatable and inspiring af, im also a college graduate and been making music for years, that LinkedIn part mad relatable haha and my career is still beginning, watching this interview affirmed me to keep going, also love & make pluggnb & jerk music much love from Los Angeles 🙏🏽💪🏽🇵🇭 thank you KTO Arshan and YT for this
Seeing the 2024 renaissance with the UK reminds me of the whole new-wave moment in the ’90s/2000s, like the Pet Shop Boys and other artists putting on for that scene at the time, except this time around it’s a more hip-hop-focused niche. Big Ups.
So cool seeing such a down to earth guy from the uk spreading the sound. As someone from the uk who’s always been listening to us artists and felt like its not gonna grow over here, yt len fimi lancey kwes e etc have changed that. Starting to know more and more people who like this kind of music too who would’ve hated a few months ago🤞🤞 and hearing him s/o all the underground artists was so cool
dem prime slayworld days was so fye. im glad that bruh was able to give flowers, too many of these new ug artists got too much pride to mention those who came before them. cool guy man.
great interview, you always ask really good questions YT such a dope guy can’t see how anyone could hate bro unrelated to the uk but get el cousteau on here!
About skepta’s tweet, I think these guys are reading it wrong. I think Skepta is asking people in general if the concept of an organic underground scene is allowed to exist and thrive in the wider context of the uk scene (perhaps in regards to gatekeepers) , rather than whether a scene is actually present or not.

Fimi, Fakemink, Len, skepta too even though he a little tuned out
@@onyoblocca6304 skepta isn't necessarily tuned out, there's a reason why he said what he said. at least that's what i'm thinking.
