However, a comparison of King George IV’s Coat of Arms to King Charles III’s Coat of Arms shows that King George IV’s Coat of Arm's center inescutcheon representing the Kingdom of Hanover, Germany is omitted on King Charles III's Coat of Arms. Regarding 3:24, the 2025 pure Silver Sovereign will have the same weight of 7.98 grams and same diameter of 22.05 mm as the 22 karat gold sovereign. However, the thickness of the pure Silver Sovereign should be 2.56 mm whereas the 22 karat gold sovereign has a thickness of 1.52 mm. This is because the density of silver is lighter than the density of gold.
