You guys watched it in wrong order. The one eyed Zelot , Keldalis was the first wave attack , he was in that cinematic after they spoke. And that battle you seen was after this conversation !
If you like the MProtoss, I HIGHLY RECOMMAND the "Alone" cinematic from the Legacy of The Void campaign. It is my favourite cinematic in the game, with Artanis (also my favourite character in the Starcraft universe), an epic scene showing why Artanis became the hierarch of the Protoss, he actually was a simple starfighter pilot at the start of Starcraft 1.
First. And I wanted you guys to react to this! Probably one of the best SC2 cinematics, or even one of the best Blizzard cinematics they've made. Not too sure if you guys knew the spelling of their planet: Aiur, not ire (hahaha). The Dark Templar (Nerazim) broke from the Templar (Khalai) because they want individuality, rather than the unity that the Khala provided to the main Templar group. They have no rigid caste system like the Templar do, but both were equally advanced in technology (just different in cultural and societal beliefs). They reunified to retake Aiur from the Zerg, as the Daelaam (a unified Protoss race), all of this occuring based off the events from the first game and its expansion.
@Qimodis High Templar and Templar are synonymous. The other Protoss factions don't refer to themselves as Templar, excluding the Purifiers. Even the High Templar characters in game will sometimes refer to themselves as Templar.
So there's like roughly 30 more cinematics that are part of the actual campaign missions, as preludes and conclusions. Together they're about an hour of cinematics so way more than you can react to in one sitting, but I'd suggest checking THOSE out in the proper order. You might also need a bit of mid-watch explanation to get full understanding of whats going on. There's some cinematic compilations out there but the Wings of Liberty compilations usually take in a couple of additional cinematics that are optional and contradictional to their opposing, canon choice cinematic results. I can get you a comprehensive list of all cinematics with notations on which ones are non-canon, if you'd like. I can post it in your discord or something. With that said, great reaction. Especially that you recall the previous cinematic and can put them together, this was essentially the prequel to the Legacy of the Void cinematic, this happened maybe a few hours beforehand. Likewise there's another cinematic in the actual Legacy of the Void campaign that's a bit of an unknown, it could be before either or after the Legacy of the Void cinematic, unsure.
Pls check out more Starcraft 2 lore, The cinematic that you watched here is right before the invasion to take back auir (not ire). the cinematic after this one is where artanis commences the invasion even though someone tells him that is is a bad idea and is a distraction from the true battle ahead (Amon a hybrid of protoss and zerg has awoken from the void and is going to destroy all of the races).
This cinematic is so good, because it shows how good of a leader Artanis is. Throughout the Starcraft story, you can easily see why Artanis is one of the best leaders if not the best, for his race. Apart from making good decisions and questioning himself instead of blindly following a path, you can see that his people have an immense faith in him, a faith that he himself inspired on them. That is a good leader!
Artanis is not a king (well like one but not, just their chosen leader) he is called Hierarch. It is not teleportation it is called recall (their act of going somewhere, only within a Pylon powerfield though). The spelling is Aiur (the planet that looks like Earth), the Protoss (them) homeworld. Khala is what they call their connection to each other (mind, emotion, Etc.). The Dark Templar (Nerazim) is a type of Protoss like Taldarim. Zerg is a species like Protoss (the species they are). "My Life For Aiur" is a normal line said by Protoss that gives them motivation to fight. The fleet of ships at the end is called "Golden Armada" it was created for the retaking of Aiur Hope that was enough information for non-players to understand :) (EDIT) they retook it (but didn't really go as planned)
You guys should see the Zerarul vs Kerrigan cinematic from Wings of Liberty, it's a great cinematic to see the antique Kerrigan (before she breaks from "the enemy" influence). PD: sorry for my english
The Story of Starcraft 2 is pretty Straight forward, so watching in-game cinematic videos (making reaction video) from start (Wings of Liberty) to end (Legacy of the void) shouldn't be so hard.
I feel like I'd really love to get a reaction from the four of you on the Starcraft 2 'Warrior's Fate' cinematic, which happens midway through Legacy of the Void's plotline.
Interesting piece of information for you, if it wasn't mentioned elsewhere. The Zerg, which you now know to be the insect like aliens, are, in a way, related to the Protoss.
They should also look at the ingame conversations as it explains a lot more character motivation. Like a certain Grand Preserver's opinion on Adun and his actions (winks and nudges).
So uhh. I know a lot about the lore and this can be quite long. Also spoiler warning read this if you want to. There are these entities called the Xel'naga (I think that's how you write it) they made the Zerg and the Protoss (Zerg= Alien looking things Protoss= The cool alien dudes) the Protoss and the Zerg are opposite the Protoss are more Psionic and the Zerg are more.. well psychical. The original Zerg are on Zerus (Primal Zerg) They are constantly fighting and consuming each other to evolve. There are also packs. On this planet a corrupted Xel'naga called Amon who wants to destroy the entire universe changed the Zerg into his own creation. He created the Overmind a very powerful and big zerg that helped control them. But it gained sentience and secretly betrayed Amon the dark Xel'naga. It searched for a powerful Psionic Terran. (Human) It eventually found what it was looking for, this person was Sarah Kerrigan, a Ghost (A powerful psionic operative) The Overmind infested Kerrigan and made her it's champion to eventually kill Amon. At the same time the Templar (Normie Protoss) were waging war on the Dark Protoss (Edgy insecure Protoss) who had severed themselves from the Khala (I think that's how to write it.) The Khala being like a neural connection between all the Protoss. So if a Protoss died all the other Protoss would know. Sometime in the war the Zerg were on the hunt for the Protoss Homeworld (Auir or Aiur. Either one) Zeratul a Dark Templar kills a cerebrate (Most likly not typed that way) A Cerebrate being a zerg structure that helped the Overmind control the Zerg. Before the Cerebrate died it send the location of the Protoss Homeworld to the Overmind. (Because it looked into it's mind) Thus the invasion of Aiur Began! Part one complete! (Sorry if it's confusing, I write something forget about something else, remember it then write it there. So if the first part is confusing sorry) (This is still in Starcraft one) Tassadar is a EXTREMLY powerful Psionic Templar. He is right now the Executor of the Templar. He doesn't like the war and knows about the threat of the coming Zerg. He tries to warn the Conclave (A bunch of stupid losers who are very proud/cocky and hate the Dark Templar) about the Zerg invasion. They dont listen. But Artanis (The dude with two eyes in the video you probably just watched) listened to Tassadar and prepared. The invasion came, all the Templar panicked, the Conclave fell apart. A whole bunch of Protoss died.. But Tassadar found where the Overmind is and attacked it. He killed it but with the cost of his own life. It slowed the Zerg invasion for a bit but it didn't stop it. Now the Templar live on the Dark Templars Homeworld. The Zerg were broken apart and now Kerrigan is in charge, the Overminds plan failed, because he died. And know Kerrigan is controlled by Amon. Part two! Hooray!! There's still more. And I could type a lot more, but I've already been typing for like 30 or more minutes. (This will now be Starcraft 2 and if you know about Starcraft one lore and be like.. Wait he didn't say anything about the Terrans!! I know and I dont care go away.) Okay so now we are going to talk about Jim Raynor (A complete Chad who was the Lover of Kerrigan before she became the Queen of Blades) He used to work for the Confederation as a Marshall, but he realized they were corrupt and he joined a terrorist group called the Sons of Korhal (Is that how it's typed??) who were really Freedom Fighters against the Confederates. There was an Invasion of Tarsonis by the Zerg. Mensk the leader of the Sons of Korhal nuked the shit (Sorry) out of it and the confederates fell apart. Then he abandoned Sarah Kerrigan, on the planet. Raynor realized he's more corrupt. Here a quote from him, "I wont be stopped! Not by you.. the Zerg, or the Protoss! I will rule this sector, or see it burn to ashes around me. " He then made the Dominion. Raynor now has the Raynor's Raiders, a rebel group against the Dominion. So Raynor does a whole bunch of rebellion things. He finds some artifacts, and a group called the Moebius Foundation said that he needs to collect more. So he does, they said that they will meet him (Once he got them all) so they go to where they have to meet.. and then BOOM! The Dominions Flagship the Bcphealsaus or something (Yes it's 100% wrong on purpose) Raynor goes on the Flagship wanting to kill Mensk.. But he isn't there, it's someone else! It's his son Valerian! And he says that he owns Moebius and he can bring back his E-Girl Waifu Sarah Kerrigan. With the artifacts that he collected. Turns out they are from Xel'naga origin and they can get rid of her infestation. So thats what happens. But at the end Tychus Findley betrays his bestfriend Raynor and tries to kill Sarah. He failed, then died.. Bullet in head hurt bad. Yippee! Part 3 is done, but there's still two more! Oh no, I cant feel my fingies pleasae help I cabnt type well. (I can type perfectly fine, im just bored and this is my only time of more humor) Now it's time for.... Part 2 of Starcraft 2 the Heart of the Swarm campaign So Kerrigan wakes up in a Moebius Facility and is no longer controlled. She's about to be released but then the Dominion attacks and Raynor dies but she escapes (She discovers this after she escaped) She gets angry because Raynor isn't back yet (She didn't know he died) She goes to a plantet with a big anti Space gun and there are zerg there. She controls them and destroys the Dominion base there. She gets scared because she thinks her old self is coming back. Then she finds out Raynor died, she gets really mad and nearly fries the ship she is on. She then wants to kill Mensk the Dominion Emperor who caused all of this. She goes to a whole bunch of planets reforms the Swarm, makes herself more powerful then goes out to attack Korhal the Dominion Capital Planet. Valerian the Emperor's son says. No you have to wait, because there are still civilians there. So she waits a bit, but then she's like I have to attack now because the is the only chance I got. Valerian says fine we will still evacuate Civilians but please leave Civilian sectors clear. She says okay and the Invasion of Korhal began. She won, and went to the palace where Mensk is. But then it turns of he has the Xel'naga artifact and used it to attack her, Mensk stands by the door and then Big boi man in suit THE Jim Raynor crushes the remote control thing that controls the Xel'naga artifact and then Kerrigan Explodes Mensk. Part 3 complete, now thy final part. Part four!! Here we goooo! (This is all about the Probros I mean Progoes.. I uh The Produdes I mean.... The Protoss!) (A hybrid is a mix between Protoss and Zerg there are two different kinds one is more Zerg/Psychical and the other is more Protoss/Psionic) The hybrid only slow it down by a bit, then Zeratul (Yes the same one) realized that there is something wrong, another Protoss couldn't sense Artanis (Current Protoss Executor, nobody likes him for some reason) so he investigates and he finds out that the Dark Xel'naga Amon has corrupted the Khala and through the Khala he controls the Templar (And only the Templar, Not the Dark Templar they have the nerve cords severed) Zeratul severs Artanis's (How can I say this?) Nerve cord, but at the cost of his life. Artanis is very sad, because Zeratul was like his brother. So the invasion fails and Artanis is severing as many never cords that he can. Being a nice dude. He then goes around helping other Templar. He helps the Dark Templar, but they blow up their own plant to kill billions of Zerg, but most of the people survived. He goes around and helps the Terrans defend their Capital and take back the Xel'naga artifact. Where my favorite cut scene is ( ttps://th-cam.com/video/5arcNgGefLs/w-d-xo.html just copy the link) Then they use the Xel'naga artifact to find where the Xelnaga are. So they now call it the Keystone. The found out where they are, they are in a wormhole and they go to a place which I forgot the name of. There they find Kerrigan trying to find the Xel'naga too. So Artanis and Kerrigan team up and find the resting place of the Xel'naga. Then they find them all dead because Amon killed them. They all run so they can become stronger for the final fight. They do the final Fight, good team wins and Amon is cast back into the Void. Then they go in the void and kill Amon there! So he will be dead for good. This was a lot, if you have any questions. I will answer them (Maybe) I know I didn't cover everything (Dont want to tell them everything) Somethings are probably wrong, so please dont be one of those people who will go apeshit (Sorry) " NOOOOOO THATS NOT RIGHT!!!! !
